The new moon Latin food restaurant COULD be 100 times better, but sadly NO. This place feels like a strip club without the stripers. It’s dark, the tables are dirty and sticky, the place is dark, and all you see here is Men drinking and flirting with the waitresses. Add sleezy music and a few slot machines and you’ve got a small wh@rehouse. There’s limited parking of 3 spots.
The food isn’t as good as it should be. The only good thing about this place was a waitress that was quick to take our order and was nice and polite. The other ladies always have an attitude problem and take forever to even offer us a glass of water.

My wife and I truly enjoyed the Chinese menu at the New Moon Restaurant. The food was excellent, service was great and they have a nice drink selection. Plenty of parking and comfortable table seating. Highly recommend to all.

I’m a sorry but the food was just horrible. And they looked Latino. That doesn’t mean they can’t make Chinese food, but they definitely missed the mark. I got the spare ribs and they looked tasted and smelt like they sat all day long. The lomein was mushy and just off….the crab wontons came with no dipping sauce. 28 bucks for bad food. Oh and the crab Rangoon had zero crab and some sort of cheese that was stringy and unidentifiable.

DON’T EAT HERE. The restaurant is close so, sadly I have given this restaurant 4 tries. And each time it’s worse, to the point I HAD to write such a horrible review.
They use poor quality, possibly verge of tainted, spoiled meat. Definitely frozen thawed and refrozen meat. When, convenient, they fail to put key ingredients, seasonings required to “Call” a dish, a dish.
I’ve never had egg rolls with “jimmy Dean” sausage Links in them.
The cashew chicken had chicken that tasted spoiled Pryor to cooking.
Paid $40 bucks on 2 entrees and 2 appetizers, only to be severely disgusted
Had the Mexican food the time b4. Again, poor quality meat, small tacos, no real combination plates, I didn’t know Spanish people could make beans that tasted bad!

The food at this establishment is of poor quality, and the prices are excessively high. For a carne asada dish that includes only rice, a small portion of beans, a modest amount of sauce, and a bit of cottage cheese, the price is $20, which is unreasonable considering the portion size and quality.

Additionally, there is no suitable dining area inside. The available tables are occupied primarily by men who are drinking and engaging in loud arguments, and the tables themselves are unclean.

In my opinion, I can only give this place one star as it does not merit a higher rating.

New Moon Restaurant is a fusion of Chinese cuisine? Salvadoran and Mexican? The new Moon restaurant offers all three cuisines on their very long menus. The restaurant has seating in the adjacent connected BAR/Gambling house?? I look forward to going back and trying the other two cuisines. I used to go to this restaurant on many hungry times. But the quality of food and the owners attitude is just not worth it. Go to Eden Center for better food. They have recently got new owners so maybe the quality of Food and Customer service will be better.
Order everything 5 times spicy should you care for spicy food! Everything to the most part is delish, the best thing is the orange chicken and fried rice and highly recommended is The Spicy Chicken Wing Platter. There are plenty of additional options with walking distance so do look at alternative options.

I wanted a delivery to Ballston, which I’ve ordered multiple times with the last owners. They said they cannot deliver here because it’s too far. I told them I am two miles away and they said that it was more than 4 miles away, so they wont do it. The lady who picked up the phone took my order and then told me to wait. I could hear her taking other oders in the restaurant and when she finally got back to me she asked me the address and took my card info. After taking my card info and address she said they cannot do it. I was telling my coworkers how good their food was, but I guess I’ll stop telling people about it

I have been a customer for the past 20 years or so. Food is always good. But today the rice portions in my 2 large chicken and brocoli were extremely small and the food was tasteless. Someone was telling me they heard the restaurant has changed owners. If this is so I really hope new owners make improvements

33$ down the drain. Never in my life even spent 33$ at a carryout? So definitely overpriced. I got spicy chicken wings which weren’t great, general tso chicken which taste like eating a spoonful of salt! The meat wasn’t even fully cooked, it was literally like rubber! These reviews are misleading and because of that i will never trust a Google review again! The fried rice i ordered was the only thing that was decent and i can’t forget about my cold greasy spring rolls! AWFUL!

Good portions and great value overall. I’ve only tried the Chinese food, not the Salvadoran, but it’s really good. When they say it’s ready in 10 minutes, they mean it. Parking can be tough, but I’ve never found a full lot. One of our favorite places.
