This place is honestly very…alright. I’ve gone a few times inside and picked up one to go order. Their bbq is alright, but overall lacking in flavor and not very warm either. The sausage and the bread they use for their sandwiches were also too sweet to me personally. They have a pretty decent range of sides which all that I’ve tried are pretty good. The staff were nice as well. However, everything overall was just kind of “meh.”

New favorite local BBQ spot! We’ve eaten at the Fort Smith location numerous times and have always enjoyed it, so we’ve been impatiently waiting for Rogers to open since we live much closer to it. Went for the first time yesterday and was happy to see it’s just as good. I get the burnt ends every time because theirs are hands down the best with consistently perfect texture and flavor, and the sides are always delicious as well. The only thing I’d recommend for this location is to not have the AC so high as it cooled the food off fairly quickly. Regardless, this is easily one of if not the best local BBQ spot now and we’ll definitely be back!

Went for the first time today. Ordered the Special Ops sandwich and it was served as a platter, which I preferred anyway. I really liked the tender brisket, jalapeno sausage, and the rib. The pulled pork was flavorful but on the dry side. The mac n cheese was seasoned and creamy, but my favorite side was the beans, smoky, sweet, delicious! I picked up a bottle of their signature rub, looking forward to using it at home. It was quick in and out, 8/10 overall, I will be back.

When you walk up, the smoky smell will have you drooling! REALLY good barbecue! Brisket is amazing! Loved the pineapple sausage also. Ribs are fall-off-the-bone awesome, and a bit spicy. I really like the original and Kickin’ Apple BBQ sauces also. Friendly staff!

After seeing all of the reviews, unfortunately, I will be going a little against the grain it seems.

First off, I have to say that the staff was very nice, polite, and welcoming. The restaurant being new has a great appearance, is pleasant on the inside, and has high end smoker equipment that greets you as you enter. The BBQ smell is amazing!

My wife and I were the second table after they opened today. We both ordered the special ops, which appears to be their sampler item, and it consisted of pulled pork, one pork rib, beef brisket and your choice of sausage and one side for $14.99.

The pulled pork, unfortunately, was cold, which was surprising seeing as how we were the second table there after they opened. Besides being cold, it was also dry and lacking in barbecue flavor. It wasn’t bad, it just lacked any type of individuality or identity. It was just plain.

The brisket that we received was very dry.
However, it did have a decent flavor. To be fair, we asked for the lean cut. I will add though, we have had brisket at other BBQ places that served moist lean cuts, rather than dry.

The pork rib, of which there is only one small one, was very dry as well and also cold.

The Jalapeño/Pineapple sausage was fantastic and a great flavor profile. Definitely recommend!

The baked beans were average and tasted similar to most other BBQ joints. Would have been better if they were more specialized and a bigger serving.

The Mac n cheese was bland. It was basically just elbow noodles without any seasoning or really any cheese, which was disappointing.

My wife got the brisket twister as a side which ended up being a solitary small jalapeno popper that had some brisket in it. It was more a tease than a side.

My overall impression was that there wasn’t much bang for the buck. The portion sizes were very small and would have been more worthwhile, had the barbecue in general been more standout. For example, you get one small pork rib, a small serving of pulled pork and two tiny slices of brisket with your plate. There definitely wasn’t a generous serving of any single item on that plate, except maybe the sausage.

As a side note, the Handicapped parking is located on the side of the building and not closest to the entrance. For those with mobility concerns, take that into consideration.

If you are looking for a great smokehouse that is off the beaten path then I would highly recommend blue ember. It is on par or better than other bbq juggernaut’s in the area and there isn’t a line out the door yet. Brisket is the best of any bbq place here, fried okra is the freshest I’ve had at any restaurant anywhere and the Mac and cheese reminds me of my grandmas. Soooo good. Come try this place before the lines find it. You won’t regret it.

If you like great bbq, I would not recommend this place. For great bbq in Northwest Arkansas, there is only one Wright answer. All of the meats had little flavor, other than the chicken, which was very good. Brisket, turkey and pork were all dried out. Burnt ends were hard pieces of bacon drenched in sauce that barely made them edible. Mac n cheese and green beans were throw-away-able. Fried okra was fantastic though, some of the best I’ve had in a long time.

That being said, the sauce was good, the service was outstanding, and our to go order wasn’t missing anything. The place was clean, smelled like a bbq restaurant, and the staff were very nice. Would be a good place for bringing kids.

The meat was exceptionally bland and cold. It needed a lot of bbq sauce to have any taste

The macaroni and cheese was not good at all. No taste of cheese – more like a slight milk taste.

I’ll try again in a few weeks when they’ve hopefully figured out how to do everything, but would struggle to justify the cost again without improvements.

THE BEST BBQ in NWA hands down!! We had our order to-go and it still tasted so fresh and all the meats were melt in your mouth tender! The flavor of everything was outstanding, you can tell they put the love in the food! There are a lot of good BBQ places here but this tops them all! Check this place out ASAP!!

Food is not bad my brisket sandwich was very tasty but cold. My wife got a pulled pork sandwich, and it was bland and cold. Gotta say, all of our food was cold, and I’m sure would’ve been much better if warmed. Mac and cheese, I would skip next time. Baked beans are pretty yummy. I liked their barbecue sauce options, but I wish their spicy sauce had a bit more spice to it.

The guys who took care of us were super nice. The place was very clean. Not too busy for dinner time on a Saturday.

Atmosphere was a bit strange in the sense that they just played Christian rock the whole time. Not quietly either, loud enough that it really set the tone, and wasn’t just background noise. Some people would probably love that, but it just wasn’t the vibe for me. Like of a yuck vibe tbh, and made us not care to stick around for long.
