We’ve been wanting to come here since last year but just never had the time until this morning and once we finally walked through the doors, we instantly understood why this place has been getting so much love.
Of course, we had to try the January special Puppy Chow which came with chocolate, peanut butter, vanilla, sweet cream cold foam, plus a side of puppy chow (which is such a fun touch). I ordered mine iced, Melissa got hers hot, and WOW… absolutely fantastic. The flavor was phenomenal.
The staff was extremely friendly, the atmosphere was welcoming and unique, and everything just felt right. Honestly, if we lived closer, we’d probably be here every single day, no joke.
We also grabbed a chocolate chip muffin and a triple berry muffin. Melissa’s was super moist, and mine was a little on the dry side, but it still had really good flavor.
Bottom line … highly recommend checking this place out. This is a true hidden gem and absolutely worth the trip, even if you don’t live nearby.

Note: Coffee snob review coming up! For Brandon, WI, this is a neat little shop with pretty good coffee. Yes, I can make better at home on my fancy machine with my fancy beans and fancy grinder…but if I’m on the road and near Brandon, it would be worth 5 or 10 minutes out of my way because there aren’t any other good options anywhere around that I’m aware of. That said, we got nice foam on our Breve (often hard to do) and the coffee itself tasted good. A little darker roast than we prefer but very smooth. The deer heads everywhere is very Wisconsin, I loved it. Very popular place on a Sunday.

We were traveling near the area and had this place on our list that we wanted to try. Walking in the first impressions were amazing; clean, great display case, menu with enough options but not too many. The staff was a refreshing change from the growing trend of workers on their phones and acting like you are making them work, the staff was friendly, looked you in the eye and was eager to serve you. Even came back to our table to double check on what kind of foam we wanted on the coffee. The salted caramel and maple lattes were excellent. The red velvet muffin was so good. Avacado toast and breakfast panini were good and even allowed us to order a side of eggs for more protein! I highly recommend this place. We’d be back in a heartbeat.

Outshines any local coffee shop in the area! Lots of seating, such a wide variety of AWESOME and creative coffee drinks & breakfast. Process is fast and seamless, plus they have online ordering for pickup. The staff at Wake-up Whitetail always greats me with a smile and kindness. Plus, they’re open on Mondays unlike any coffee shop in Ripon. Wake-up white tail sets the bar pretty high in the area.

We got coffee and both myself and my husband had coffee grounds on the bottom of our cups.
The coffee was good but they need to make sure it is made correctly.
The decor is cool with all the taxidermy animals.

A wonderful variety and selection of coffee and non-coffee drinks, plus delicious breakfast and lunch choices. My favorites are the Samoa and the S’more iced coffee drinks, the avocado toast, or the acai bowls. Wake-up Whitetail has great service, a welcoming atmosphere, and I love the monthly drink specials. Whether a local or traveling through Brandon, it’s well worth a visit!

Wake Up Whitetail is a unique coffee shop with quality drinks. The lattes are very flavorful and the cold foam is my favorite. The taxidermy mounts are very neat to look at, even if you aren’t very familiar with the hunting realm. It is a great addition to the community.

I travel 40 minutes to get to this coffee shop & it is worth every mile. The staff is friendly, their drinks are unique, the food is delicious &the atmosphere is very comforting. Try their breakfast burrito with maple mustard sauce. Yum!
