The best in town!! They are a really sweet couple . Super fresh donuts every day. The breakfast biscuits are my favorite on the whole menu. If you get there when they are making more donuts, you are in for a treat.. these donuts literally melt in your mouth! Pricing is good considering the freshness and quality.the only problem is, they haven’t been open a lot lately. When they are open, little to no selection anymore.

Both times I’ve been and they were actually open there has been a line of several parties. Seems to be a rather busy place. Go early bc there isn’t much left to choose from (donut wise at least) by 9.
The display definitely didn’t look like the pics. There were no labels, so you have to ask if you dk what a donut is or if it’s filled.
I did get the last apple fritter which I expected to be super delicious based on the reviews. It was not. I also got some donut holes which were just meh. I will likely give it another go at an earlier time before I leave the area. The blueberry cake and old fashioned donuts are top notch!
I would call to verify they’re open if you’re driving very far. I have driven over several times to either find a sign on the door that they were closed for some reason or they’re just not open even though they should be according to the posted hours. I deducted a star for this.

This is my go-to for breakfast sandwiches and donuts! Such a yummy combo! I recommend the egg and cheese croissant breakfast sandwich with sausage or bacon. The “croissant”. is more like a brioche bun but still makes for a tasty breakfast sammy – just don’t expect a French croissant or you’ll be terribly disappointed. (The ham or turkey breakfast sandwiches use cold cuts, I would stay away from those unless that’s your jam.). I also recommend the hot dog-like breakfast item wrapped in brioche-like bread. The donuts… it’s impossible to make a bad choice here! I love that they are not terribly sweet, and the texture is perfect! Also, the owners are super nice!

Hands down the best donuts in Hopkinsville. According to my 15 year old, they are the best donuts he has ever had, and honestly I agree. (Military family, we move around a lot) The owners have perfected the outside of the donut texture to give a perfect small crisp without being called crispy. The inside of the donut has the perfect chew and is airy without losing any flavor. The donuts are not overly sweet. I recommend the apple fritters, old fashioned and blueberry cake donuts. The owners of this shop are amazing people, they are always friendly and ready to make you happy. They also have other food options that are just as tasty, however our family is partial to the donut treats! We have moved from Hopkinsville 2 years ago, and can’t find anything in our area that is even remotely as good as Hoptown Donuts, we are looking forward to the day we are back “home” so we can frequent Hoptown Donuts again!

I heard nothing but good things about how good their donuts were but I found the opposite. I was there 30 minutes after they opened. There were no filled donuts. No jelly filled, custard filled, nothing but glazed rings and chocolate glazed rings. Was told they dont make those kind. Also heard their apple fritters were great. The apple fritters are crunchy and overcooked. Walmart’s bakery is better than hoptown donuts.

Come before 10 cos they’ll sell out of everything … I live in Louisville and the donuts at hoptown donuts are better than anything I’ve had in Louisville. The couple who own it are super nice , and their daughter is super cute .
The restaurant and restroom are clean . It’s just a great experience to go here !

Actually really good. Better than big town donuterias. The apple fritter was nice and crunchy. The glazed were also on point. Ran out of most of their supply by 10a which was annoying, tho maybe a sign of their popularity.

The owner herded us around and wouldn’t let us stop and look at what donuts we wanted. She was also very rude and inconsiderate when she rang us up before we finished ordering.

We were wanted about the hot yeast doughnuts. And they made the croissants I house too. Delicious! Very reasonable prices. Excellent doughnuts.
