Delightful little bar. Great happy hour and full of locals. Definitely had the cheers (where everybody knows your name) vibe. There are plenty of TVs for football watching. The pizza was so yummy, nice buttery, crispy crust. Would definitely recommend for tourists and locals both!!

Hunter is the absolute best bartender that has happened to CJ’s. He was so attentive with a full bar, he made us and everyone else feel right at home. I’ve been in before, but will definitely be back especially on his shifts. The drinks are amazing, the food was awesome, and Hunter’s personality tied it all together. His singing helped too.

My husband and I came to Destin for a quick getaway. It just happened to be one of the best weekends for SEC football. We were looking for a place close by to go and watch the games as well as enjoy some good food. We located CJs Harbor Hangout by typing local sports bars via Maps. I will admit we passed it the first time. (I wasn’t driving, lol). We turned around and doubled back and we are so glad we did. Immediately upon entering the door we were overcome with a sense of familiarity. There was laughter, games playing on so many tvs which let us know that no matter where we sat we were guaranteed to see the games, and the smell of good food wafting through the establishment was welcoming. Opting to sit at the bar today we were immediately greeted by an Amazing bartender, who shared the lay of the land so to speak from making sure I had a place to hang my purse on the customized bar hooks, to the menus and specials. Then there were the locals welcoming us in, to meeting a young lady who we later learned that she and her husband are one of the owners. We opted for wings which were cooked to perfection.
If you are ever in the area and want to enjoy good food, and have fun with some great people, CJs Harbor Hangout is where you want to be. Ben & Michelle G.

My wife and I’s experience was stellar. Hunter, our server, was completely amazing. He gave us great input on must-have food items, what his favorite drink and food items were, and what was popular with local Destin residents. And I’ll just say…everything was a hit! Corn nuggets with Cajun rub, buffalo hot wings, and the Fredo Pizza consisted of dinner tonight. We almost got a large but…he warned us a 16” large was a lot for just the 2 of us, unless we wanted leftovers. We opted for the no leftovers and still had leftovers!! Inexpensive food, drinks, and an excellent time from the staff, locals, and tourists such us as!

I don’t write many reviews, but this place deserved one so here we are. Vols fans in town for the weekend looking for a bar to watch our football game at and we weren’t sure how we would be accepted – CJ’s was the BEST decision! We were welcomed with open arms by one of the owners (the C), Shane, immediately when we walked in. He went above and beyond to get us seated as it was full inside when we first got there. He checked on us the entire time we were there, along with our other great waitress (forget her name, so sorry, but a VERY friendly Georgia fan) and waiter (Hunter) we had throughout the night. We had planned to leave after our game to check out other sports bars, but stayed the whole night because the atmosphere made it too hard to leave. CJs was such a great mix of college football fans which made the atmosphere top notch. Service was great! Food was fantastic! And we met so many amazing people. Highly recommend stopping in anytime you’re in town!
