A taste of home. This place has been consistent for well over a decade and the food still hits every time. The boneless spare ribs, the sesame chicken, the fried chicken wings, they never miss. Same flavor and same vibe after all these years.
It is not gourmet or anything. It is your typical NY area takeout spot with the usual questionable quality here and there. But this is the one I grew up on and it will always be my go to in the neighborhood. I hope Fortune East stays around forever.

They put rice in my shrimp lo mein?? There was barely any shrimp and they hid so much rice under the noodles. Extremely disappointed, I’ve been going here for years
Edit: the food is still the best I’ve had. Went to other Chinese places…portions were big but the flavor just wasnt there. Still disappointed ABIUT rice being in my lo mein though.

Clearly they had an issue with Uber Eats and they were supposed to figure it out but they wanted me to pay them even more. I already paid for my food. Rude. The lady was fighting with me over 5 dollars and said I needed to pay her she’s very demanding like I paid you can’t make me pay more.

Decent fast food and lunch deals. Ordering online usually doesn’t work and you find out once you arrive your order wasn’t started. The place smells like a rancid basement.

Was recommended this place by friends and felt reassured by the 4 star rating. The food quality was extremely poor. Ordered shrimp and chicken fried rice. Rice was stale and tasteless. Appeared to be days old rice, definitely not freshly made. Ordered chicken with broccoli as a safe choice. The chicken was rubbery and hard to chew- could not finish the meal. Only thing that was edible was the sesame chicken which was deep fried and breaded and coated in sauce- hard to mess up. Really difficult to find good quality Chinese food take away in East Queens- Long Island. Will not be ordering again- wondering who could give this place 4 stars.

We have been going here for years, and the taste and quality has significantly decreased. They have increased the prices of everything, and gotten greedy. $2 increase in one month. We asked for extra spicy and they tried to charge extra. I’ve never heard of a restaurant charging extra for spicy. Ridiculous. The quantity of food has also decreased. They went from above average to below average. Wouldn’t recommend anymore.
