The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is (since) summer (2024) the broccoli has been very tough! Everything else is great! The young man that works the register (& cooks) is extremely polite and goes the distance to make everything right. The young lady is nice. She’s NEVER been rude but sometimes I feel like she doesn’t want to be there and that kind of makes me feel “out of place”.
I would eat here more but sometimes I don’t have cash and they only take cash money.

I love eating here but I will have to find another Chinese food restaurant that will take a debit card as a form of currency for payment.
I know they have the means to accept credit/debit cards (checks as well). On one occasion, I noticed a gentleman pay with a card. Where I was told I had to use cash ONLY.
Being I was turned away today because of the “cash ONLY”. My rating has dropped to a 3 star.

If I could give this restaurant is zero it’s absolutely horrible. The food that they gave me were old. I called to get an exchange not even a refund. They wouldn’t even change out the food. This place is not good for business. It’s extremely rude. They’re disrespectful. I would recommend to eat anywhere else except this place. It is absolutely horrible. They sell old food

I’ve lived in some very large cities Washington DC, Charlotte North Carolina, Atlanta Georgia, Miami Florida, Fort Lauderdale Florida and for a short time in New York City. I’ve been in what was supposed to be some of the finest Chinese restaurants in these cities. Now that I’m in Andrews South Carolina you don’t expect to find quality food here frankly. The food we ordered was absolutely fantastic!!! It was wonderfully fresh, prepared excellently and very high quality products used. The portions are huge and the prices are incredible based on the size of the portion served. A must-try when in Andrews South Carolina.

Ok, long story, we moved to Andrews 3 years ago and tried the local restaurants, Antonio’s and Tony’s famous, and they were not good. So we searched everywhere else in SC, before trying Tai Chang. They are absolutely fantastic! We go there at least once a month. Give them your business. Best restaurant in Andrews, South Carolina, hands down!

The place is nothing much to look at, and there is only takeout since Covid, but the food is fairly decent and we’ve been going there for years. The one thing that always stands out to me is that they’re very generous with portions. They always pack the containers to practically overflowing! I can’t say that about a lot of the pickup places I’ve gone to, as many tend to be quite stingy, while continuing to raise their prices.
Also the guy who apparently owns the place is quite cordial and pleasant sounding. This, unlike another particular Chinese restaurant in Pawleys Island (hint, there’s only one…), where the female owner is usually rude sounding, and not pleasant at all.

Food was not bad and portions were great. Very poor service though. They refused to allow me to order the lunch special a few minutes before the 3 o’clock cutoff. Told me “it’s not lunch no more”. Very rudely. When we left we said thank you and good bye and we were completely ignored. There are plenty other Chinese places to eat to go back.
