Absolutely adorable spot! We stopped at Floyd’s Wine Bar in Brenham while en route to Houston so my husband could hop on a work conference call, and it turned out to be the perfect place to pause for a bit. The prices were very reasonable, and while the name says wine bar, they also have a full bar with fun, seasonal cocktails.
It’s obvious the owners have put a lot of thought and personal touches into the space. Every detail feels intentional—even the bathroom, which had a well-stocked cart with every amenity you could imagine (yes, even mouthwash!). There’s also a great patio out back that would be perfect for relaxing with a drink.
Charming, welcoming, and thoughtfully done—we’ll definitely stop here again the next time we’re passing through Brenham.

Amazing place! Great live music! Excellent staff! The food and drinks are superb. The menu is for nibbles but they also have a pizza truck out there sometimes. I especially love the outdoor seating!

We had our 30th high school reunion here last Saturday. It was the perfect space. The staff was awesome, great service for 100 people. Drinks were fabulous. Thank y’all so much for taking good care of us. Highly recommend Floyd’s!

LOVE THIS PLACE!!!! my friend and her parents have been coming awhile. I went out with them a few months ago and everywhere else in town does not compare! This was my first time trying “Whiskey Business” and great! They have seasonal drinks and the one we have the most currently is “sweater weather” the vibe here is a 10. The staff are a 10. The eclectic furniture here is a 10. The back patio with wonderful setting and a stage they built high to see easier.. guess what a 10!!

Just need to brush up on how to make martinis! Never serve a martini with two olives- always 3, and the ratios were off.
Other than that, very good and fun vibes! the music can be louder too. And add some fun lighting .

Second spot we stopped at our trip out to Brenahm! We loved this place, the cool vibe, the music, the people, the drinks which were delicious! All of these drinks were so tasty, we had a few and then the big ol June wind storm hit us and had to be dragged back to Houston! We loved this place so I hope that when we are back no storm hits lol! But we are excited to try new stuff here.

Love the vibes, the drink and snack options, and the merchandise here (we got a Floyd tshirt and some pink sunglasses)! The bartenders were friendly and we came back for live music at night enjoying the patio space. This is a must visit in Brenham!

We always live to go to brenham and always bring our older shi tsu dog which also happens to be my wife’s service dog. We have multiple times walked around brenham gone into stores holding her We even played bingo at the wine place out there with her on my wife’s lap the whole time never had any issues until….
We go here the whole place is dedicated to these 2 dogs that they also happen to have their urns displayed above the bar for everyone to see. The person I am geussing to be there owner tells my wife that they do not allow dogs in there to which my wife replies she is my service dog. The lady then ask what services she provides and ask to see proof of service all of which they are not allowed to do! So the fact that this place is dedicated to these people’s to dogs that apparently passed away they dont allow animals in there out of all the places on the strip of brenham they were the only ones to say anything which is not cool and something should be done about that! They lost 3 people that day just for that little incident and we will not be returning.

Floyd’s figured it out fast in downtown Brenham! Since they opened, it’s been consistent good times for us. Awesome patio, great atmosphere inside, wonderful owners and staff that are always smiling. Wine, beer, or mixed drinks, you’ll find something that suits you. Stop by, and they’ll be on your favorites list.
