This is a good Jamaican fast-food restaurant. The food always has great flavor, and every time I come, I know I’m going to enjoy a delicious plate.
However, the service does not match the quality of the food. The two people who usually work at the counter often seem upset and treat customers in a very rude manner. There have been times when I’ve decided not to order because I didn’t want to deal with an unpleasant interaction.
I’ve also noticed that, although I truly enjoy this cuisine even though I’m from a different background, it sometimes feels like they are not very welcoming to customers who aren’t from their own culture. That is disappointing, because the food from their country is genuinely amazing, and people come here hoping to enjoy it with a good experience.
For these reasons, I’m giving this restaurant three stars:
• The food is excellent.
• But the customer service greatly affects the overall experience.
If the service improved, Matrix could easily become one of the best restaurants in this area.

THEY treated our order as if we didn’t matter!!! THEY just threw together what they had left and sent it out like they were feeding animals!!! Why wouldn’t THEY at least give us a courtesy call to let us know that we weren’t going have anything to eat for dinner??? Now, I’m starving and arguing with my wife because WE have nothing to eat for dinner!!!

Food is good when you can find the truck. I’ve attempted 2-3x to go get food from the truck based on their scheduling posted weekly/daily on their Instagram and to my surprise the truck wasn’t there. No Instagram update stating that truck had either closed for the day or changed locations. It shouldn’t be difficult to provide the customer with an update.

When I asked for rice and peas, The worker put the meat and gravy on top of rice to change the color of rice then charged me twice in taxes. I suggest you double check your receipt when you pay by card. The food taste good- very expensive though for the service your getting.
