Best Mexican food in north central Missouri! I’ve eaten here at least once a month with my wife ever since they opened. Excellent chips and salsa, and their combos will leave you satisfied! Their fajitas are amazing! The Fajitas Potrillos for 2 is their best deal: $30 for mouth-watering steak, shrimp, chicken, and chorizo with grilled onion, tomato, and green pepper for 2. It comes with rice and beans, shredded lettuce, Pico de Gallo, sour cream, and guacamole. We always have leftovers, it’s so much food! Bring home your leftover chips and salsa, as well, and you have a delicious meal of “Leftover Mexican” for the next day! (I like to mix it all together, add lettuce and hot sauce, and make it a kind of taco salad.) The burritos are good, and the tacos delightful (they often have lengua, cabeza, or tripa; just ask). I loved the flautas, which are basically fat taquitos. The chiles rellenos are wonderful, as well. The only downside is that the service can be slow. I recommend ordering to go if you’re in a hurry.

I don’t really have any complaints, it was Thanksgiving so it wasn’t super packed but I could see it being a pretty popular place. The servers were polite, didn’t rush us and let us take our time, it’s a nice looking place felt comfortable to be in there. The food seems atleast to me, to be authentic Mexican meals/food. It seemed like a over all comfortable experience with no issues they were wonderful, food seemed wonderful. 10/10 experience. They were also polite and patient and tried to help someone who is wheelchair bound get a table and be comfortable while dining.

A gathering for a family with 3 birthdays was ruined when a roach came crawling out of a guests taco salad– the manager said there was nothing he could do about it– it took 2 hours to get the food in the first place and then a ROACH!!! The place needs to be looked into as the servers were very rude and we had to get our own water at the bar– had made a reservation and iwhen we arrived they acted like they knew nothing about it and we had to arrange the tables ourselves!!! This was on Feb. 20th , 2026. Thanks for ruining this special event for us. We even flew in From Florida to have our gathering there– I would not refer this place to anyone.

Very good place. Easy parking. Excellent staff and the food is great. Salsa is just the right consistency and the chips are nice and crispy. I had the Speedy Gonzalez which is a beef taco and an enchilada served with rice or beans. I had the rice this time. Excellent flavor and not too dry. Yes I will go back.

Got a chicken dish and the chicken was terrible – to be a grilled chicken breast but only be 1/4” thick – when I mentioned it to the server I was told that’s why they serve two “pieces” with the dish. And then some weird explanation about how a chicken breast is too thick to cook on their grill.
The chicken was dry, hard, and TOUGH- over cooked but without any flavor beyond cheese sauce- I couldn’t get through it with a fork or even a knife. It cut on the grain and not easily, it wanted to separate/tear from the meat fibers, not because of a serated knife. And I realized that’s the broiler bird meat that blows out and that’s why it’s that tough – and probably pretty cheap. A Mc Donald’s chicken patty would have been much much better quality. Kinda ruins the whole dish to have a meat served like that where is that bad.
The rice was good at least.
Upon checkout, I was charged for a different bill and didn’t notice til I went to sign – and then it was a process of getting it voided and corrected and charged again.

Sat at the bar for dinner. One other table of four on the bar area. no bartender, just a waiter who would glance at me from time to time. Took forever to get a drink and sat there for 20 mins with my credit card on the check when I finished. Nothing special about the food. Won’t be back.

First real Mexican food i have had in a long time. Excellent salsa and chops to start. I had the folded tacos, which is not what they are called on the menu. I asked for shredded beef instead of the chicken. They take the whole taco and deep fry it after putting the meat in. The pico on it was perfect, with lots of cilantro. The three of us ate for around 50 dollars and one if us had a margaritas. So good, very hot, portions were just right.
