This was the perfect stop for the middle of a 10-hour bike ride. The ice cream here is wonderful, and they have a ton of flavors available. The shakes are chunky – just as they should be. And they have some basic food, like nachos and pretzels as well.
There’s some nice space to sit outside in the shade or in the sun.

The ice cream is delicious The employees are fabulous! I The atmosphere is amazing. I absolutely love coming to this place! It’s so nice and relaxing to enjoy a nice sweet treat on a hot summer day while taking in the scenery and the wildlife! It’s really one of my new favorite spots. The kids love coming here. Even our dogs love to come and enjoy their pup cups!!! They have the best flavors of ice cream too!!!

Nice little hidden gem! It’s just off SR 17 next to the Eel River, so you can look out over the river while eating. The staff was friendly. And just as others had said, the ice cream portion was more than expected. I would recommend the Lake Effect Pothole ice cream! The menu included food items but we were just there for ice cream.

Delicious generous scoops of ice cream. We brought our own bowls cuz they were huge. Also delicious chocolate malts. Which they’ll put in plastic rather than styrofoam if you ask.

Love their banana splits. Everything we’ve had there is very good. They have a plentiful selection of menu items. The prices can be a little startling, but generally in line with independent ice cream shops. The employees are usually teenagers, and they can be hit or miss with their enthusiasm (You know, “it all pays the same”) . The owner is very nice and inviting. I’ve never had a bad experience and always enjoy my visit. Did I mention the banana splits are AMAZING?

Customer service was OK but the sundae me and my husband didn’t even eat because it’s supposed to be a sundae and it barely has chocolate drizzle on it that’s not heated. The ice cream it’s self wasn’t even that good. We got the turtle sundae. My daughter liked her ice cream cone.
