If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Momo Grill is hands-down the best service I’ve experienced since moving to California – and the food was legit authentic Nepalese & Indian.

We ordered the Chilli Beef Momo, Tandoori Chicken Momo, and a Mango Lassi – everything was incredibly flavorful and tasted truly authentic (even for someone like me who’s picky with flavors and used to Chinese-style “real deal” food).

Since it was our first time, the staff patiently walked us through the menu, and the chef even came out twice to introduce their specialties and share a bit about Nepalese culture. That level of warmth and hospitality is rare.
On top of that, they treated us to a mixed salad with tender lamb and their homemade Thai tea – both were delicious and such a thoughtful surprise.

I usually don’t eat Nepalese/Indian food often because I’ve rarely found a place that truly impresses me… but this one absolutely did. Amazing food, genuinely kind people, and a memorable dining experience.

Highly recommended & 100% coming back!!

We are so happy that Momo grill has opened a location in Sunnyvale! They make traditional authentic nepali food and we have been regularly enjoying their food for many years at the Saratoga location. Loved the ambience and the new menu items.

We had panipuri, manchurian, paneer chilli, veg manchow soup, veg fried rice and rice pudding. Everything was great but the best was of course the MOMO!! Also the chai is to die for!!

Looking forward to more frequent visits to this location!

I tried the tandoori momo and it was really good. nicely smoky, well-seasoned, and cooked just right. I also had the goat sekuwa, and it’s honestly one of the best I’ve had since moving to California.

The place stays open late and found this when I was extremely hungry.
Got the lamb momos, schezwan chicken wings and pani puri. Everything was great but the highlights was schezwan wings. It was too good to not be ordered again. Devoured 2 plates of that and I definitely recommend!!!

Finally found great chowmien in the Bay Area! Tried schezwan chowmein & it’s delicious, just like what we get in Delhi.
Will definitely come again.
Also had tandoori momos & kheer – both were super tasty!

Amazing restaurant. Great service and great food. Hits the right notes – not too spicy and each dish was perfectly flavored. We tried Chowmein, Tandoori Momos, Paneer shashilik, Gobi Manchurian and their Chai. They have plenty of Vegetarian and Gluten Free options.

Can’t get better Indi-Chinese food than this place anywhere in the Bay Area. They have another Saratoga Sunnyvale Rd branch that we always went to and are so excited that it’s opened in Sunnyvale. The chowmein, fried rice, and momos are to die for! Lipsmackingly delish. Highly recommend it!

Had a delicious lunch with friends here the other day. The owner was cooking and came out to speak with us. We were given complimentary small cups of chai. The food was excellent–I recommend the tandoori cooked momos! The restaurant is well-appointed with nice artwork. Definitely will return.

Warm, welcoming, accommodating, and absolutely flavorful!! Momo Grill has been known for its beyond expectations food truck serving Himalayan fare, and they have now opened up a restaurant on Murphy Street, the ever-popular restaurant row of Downtown Sunnyvale. While being told they were in the midst of their soft opening right now, I’d say they are more than ready! We were warmly greeted by Manoj (pictured here) who seems to have put his heart and soul into an outstanding dining experience equipped with a full bar. After being seated, we were offered complementary Nepali chai, which is a spiced milk tea – a cherished part of Nepali culture. The blend of spices were smooth and perfect! We then started with lamb momos (pictured) delicate and flavorful dumplings. Our main entrees included a chicken tikka masala, paneer tikka masala, and a lamb stew, accompanied by vegetable biryani and buttered naan. Each item was aromatic and flavorful and the waiter took care to ensure each was spiced according to our individual preferences. Staff also constantly ensured our water glasses were full and checked in to see if we needed anything. The meal was finished off with a smooth and lovely rice pudding. We are so excited about this new restaurant, and wish Manoj and the whole team to flourish in their new space!
