El Gaucho Trattoria is truly a treasure for the Naples area. We first visited in early 2025, and I spent an entire year craving some of the flavors we had there again before finally making it back in 2026. To my delight, everything was just as delicious and fresh and I remembered. I am already planning my return in 2027!
The atmosphere is warm, inviting and comfortable—the service is like being with family, in all the best ways. The food?? My goodness. The sauces alone are show-stopping, mouth-watering, excellent. The pasta is fresh, cooked to perfection. Every appetizer was temptingly appealing; every dessert a perfect final note to the meal.
The pasta del gaucho will sit among my top dishes for a very long time, with its yellow aji chili sauce (with chilis brought fresh from Peru)! I cannot recommend it enough.

This was our second time coming here and once again they shocked us with how good the food was. For our appetizer I believe we got the octopus carpaccio, just to try something different and it was so delicious. Tasted nothing like we expected and we ate it all! The waitress helped us in deciding the pasta which was 10/10. We got the pasta del gaucho yellow chili with fettuccine noodles and it was honestly the best pasta we’ve had. In combination with our pizza which was half del gaucho with prosciutto di Parma and the di morrones we had a really good lunch. For dessert we got the ricotta pistachio cake which was super delicious. Anytime we make our way over to Naples we definitely will be coming in! The exceptional food and service are something hard to find now.

I had an amazing experience at this restaurant. The service was excellent everyone was friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. The food was honestly some of the best I’ve had; everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. You can really tell they care about quality and customer experience. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for great food and great service.

We thought we would give the early dining 3 course meal a try. The food was very good but you really don’t save much. You basically pay for the entree and salad and get a sliver of tiramisu for free. The house wine is $12 a glass, pretty expensive especially during happy hour time. I expected it to be $5 or $6 like other places we go to. All of their alcoholic drinks are high. Service was good. Atmosphere was okay. Probably won’t be back..

From the moment our party of six entered El Gaucho Trattoria’s beautiful dining room, we knew we were in for a special evening. Our appetizers and dinners—including caprese, calamari, veal and chicken parmesan, seafood risotto, and fettuccine alfredo—were outstanding. We were especially grateful for not having to converse amid the loud din of conversations around us, something we’ve experienced at several fine-dining restaurants in Bonita Springs and Naples during the busy months of February and March. Prices were reasonable for this quality of entrees.
The hostess and our server, Mariana, could not have been more helpful. The restaurant’s exceptional ambiance and cuisine created a truly memorable evening for our party of six. Highly recommend.

This place is so unassuming. Tucked in to a shopping plaza, you’d never guess it has some of the best Italian food in regards of flavor and presentation. Mariana was our server and bartender. She made an espresso martini that was the second best my girl has ever had. That is a high bar to pass. My dirty martini with blue cheese olives was excellent as well. We had the calamari to start. They were so lightly breaded, you could see thru the breading to the white flesh beneath. So tasty.
She had the chicken francaise and when it came out, she had no idea it would be so big! Definitely come hungry. I had the Seafood a la macho. It said it would be spicy, but it wasn’t. It was delicious though. So much calamari in it, I couldn’t tell where they stopped and the noodles began. That’s another great for them, each dish, you pick the noodles it is on. All in all, this was a great little spot that was a surprise to have Argentinian Italian food that hits so good!

The food was ok. Portions were ok for it’s price. Menu is small but that’s not a bad thing. Service was ok.

We came to this place not knowing what to expect but it genuinely blew us away. The atmosphere is great and the staff was so friendly . The food was AMAZING. The fried calamari tasted so fresh , the pesto was so delicious, and the pasta and pizza were sooo good. The portions are also huge so definitely will not leave hungry. Will definitely be returning when I come back to Naples
