We took a chance on Valentine’s Day to see if they could take us in without a reservation. They were very accommodating and seated us immediately. It was our first time there. The servers were all very professional and the atmosphere was cozy. The food was good, although not spiced much. However, looking at the clientele who were mostly older… I can understand not adding a lot of spice to the dishes. The kitchen was fast and delivered our orders: mushroom risotto and chicken piccata very quickly. It was all good and we felt like it was having dinner at Mom’s or Grandma’s with a home-cooked meal. The fresh, warm bread was served with an olive tapenade, that was also very good. We will definitely go again and sit outside on the patio next time. I will ask my server for a little more Italian spice, I’m sure they will do it! Go check them out.

Excellent service. Lovely atmosphere. Eggplant parmigiana was out of this world. Delicate tender eggplant with a delicious sauce and just the right amount of cheese. Not some giant fried wad covered in hard cheese. The namesake tiramisu was also excellent. And the gelati was perfect. Rich and not too sweet. Would definitely go back.

Food was excellent. Wine, Chianti Riserva by glass was decent. Table, waiter service was very good. Talking with staff was interesting. We were given two of the worst Table choices…by the main entrance door or the outdoor patio door. We settled for the later. Staff was in and out all night. Banging the door. Also, they let guests smoke immediately next to the patio area. Smoke came in every time the door opened. Would I go again, maybe. Would try other area Italian options first.

Very happy we stumbled upon this place. Such a welcoming and warm environment! Quick, extremely kind service and absolutely delicious food. We shared a salad, meatballs, and then each got our own pasta dish. They offer half portions of a pasta or a main dish as an alternative to full portions, which works so perfectly with trying a few appetizers (I wish more restaurants did this). The complimentary bread was also of addicting flavor and texture. Thank you for having us

“La Piccola Cucina” inItalian means, “small cuisine”. “Speculazione sui prezzi”means, “gouging price”. Four of us dined here last night. Atmosphere is cozy but noisy and service is fine BUT BEWARE! There are clues on the menu to the nickle and diming and the stinginess of this place: $0.50 extra for bread sticks; $4.00 extra for gluten free. $4.00 to share a salad but if they bring it to the table and you split it yourself they are gracious enough to drop that extra charge.
And the salads! “Insalata di Carciofi” included about a tablespoon of artichoke heart, two micro shavings of parmesan and a bit of lettuce and all this for a mere $18.00.
Thankfully, the Linguine alle Vongole was served with actual clams BUT without any flavor, specifically of garlic. When we inquired as to the lack of garlic flavor we were shown a clove in the dish and handed a bottle of garlic-infused olive oil. We were told that they use only a bit of garlic because, “some customers don’t like it”. We’ve been served Vongole all over the US and Italy and we’ve made it at home. Vongole is always cooked in olive oil and ground fresh garlic so that it can absorb all that flavor. This pasta was either cooked with a bit of this oil or just in water and this oil sprinkled on before serving. Ugh!
Initially, when the waiter mentioned the night’s special Ossobuco, one woman in our party gasped; this was her favorite dish. But, when it was served she gasped again, “Is this the whole portion?” she asked. The waiter assured her that this was the entire 4-oz. serving. Unfortunately, our I-Phones don’t also work as scales but all at our table estimated that the bone itself weighed in at around 2 oz. This left very little in the way of meat.
To be fair, the only high point of the meal was the delicious Branzino. We love good Italian food and are willing to pay whatever it costs to get it but we left Trattoria Tiramisu feeling ripped off and quite hungry.

This place was surprisingly decent. I didn’t have high expectations but the Vongolle was decent, the tirimisu delicious, and peach summer salad was refreshing. The wait staff was surpringly good too.

The most authentic Cacio de Pepe without making the trip to Italy! Absolute best Italian spot in the desert & Federico serves some mean drinks! Love this place

Our service was awesome. Everything we tasted was excellent. The wine pour was a heavy one. The bolognese and pesto gnocchi were incredible. Atmosphere was slightly dated and the crowd fairly older. But we’ll be back everything was great.

We enjoyed the food, service and atmosphere very much.
We were celebrating my husband’s birthday and were running short on time for a concert. All the staff accommodated us and even gave us a Surprise complimentary birthday dessert with a candle!
All of the food was fresh and cooked deliciously. ( we just traveled both north and south of Italy a year ago, and food did not disappoint)!
Very friendly and professional family owned restaurant.
We will be back.
