This was our first time at Bay View Sports Bar & Grill, and wow—we were not disappointed! I had the crab cake platter with green beans and a fresh salad—perfectly seasoned and cooked. We also shared the steamed mussels in garlic, lemon, white wine, and butter, served with crispy bread that was both moist and golden. The Smith Island stew was rich, hearty, and full of flavor—everything we tried was superb!
We had the chance to speak with the owner, who was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Amanda, the bar manager, was an absolute gem—so knowledgeable about the restaurant’s history and the menu. She even went above and beyond to give us a flyer with all the weekly events!
My husband and I will definitely be back. As someone who’s a big advocate for great food and exceptional customer service, Bay View delivers on both fronts.

Second time coming since it changed owners. Both times got the Sunday morning Buffet. Great service!! EXCELLENT FOOD. awesome atmosphere. Also really good price on the buffet. Going to try a night out at the bar, or a Sunday afternoon where they play live music!

Last weekend a friend and I ate at Bay View (not the hospital!) after previously having a bad experience under previous ownership. I’m so glad we did because the food selection and quality were great, there was some live music entertainment for their Open Mic Night and the remodeled dining room area is very nice looking!

My boyfriend & I decided to give this place a try tonight. Taylor was great. Very attentive & nice. The atmosphere was calm & relaxing. The views were great sitting at the upper level next to the windows.
Appetizers we had…. Chicken nachos, 1/2 MD crab & 1/2 cream of crab soup & onion rings. All was great. For entree I had the seafood linguine AMAZING to say The least. My boyfriend had a bacon cheeseburger which he said was outstanding.
The new ownership definitely did a 360 with this restaurant. We will definitely be returning.

November 15th was my 1st time there. I went to see my brother-in-law and his band. I took lots of pictures before going inside. Went inside and was immediately greeted and seated by Jose. The food was delicious and a great portion. Our waitress was super friendly and very attentive too. Sorry, I didn’t get her name. Going back again Saturday the 22nd to see my friends band Guilty as Charged! C’mon out, have a bite, a few drinks, and some good ol rock & roll.

This was my first time here and it was a pleasure. The dining room was surrounded by glass walls giving each seat a beautiful view, apparent even in a thunderstorm. We looked out on the patio, which I’m sure is amazing in better weather.
Although we came by car, the new floating dock is sure to impress anyone traveling by boat.
The waiter was personable and attentive. We started with delicous crab dip that was enough for two, and still some left to take home. My Niece had Fajitas that included everything you could possibly want to dress them. Our waiter was happy to swap out the beans for double rice. We didn’t ask, but surely the extra yummy guacamole was made in house. I had the seafood platter which was also fresh and fabulous. Both entrees were more than enough for a second meal at home.
Many thanks to the Staff and Owner. I will be back with my Hubby and plan to enjoy my next meal on the patio by the water.

I never leave reviews but genuinely don’t want anyone to be disappointed like I was. I went to this place because I saw it was a new management/owner. Their grand re-opening made the place look great and my parents raved about the tacos. My husband and I were so excited to try it out but the first time we went it was full due to a private event. The second we went was a weekday so I’m not sure if they just weren’t operating as normal? Anyway, we show up and the workers were very nice. We sit down and the server asks if we’d like anything to drink , my husband asks for a Long Island and she had no clue what that was and said only what’s on the menu can be made . Never heard of that at any place but OKAY whatever. He ordered a Mojito and I a strawberry Margarita. Mine was more sugar than alcohol I should’ve just gotten juice. His tasted like actual toothpaste. We then ordered our app (crab pretzel) which wasn’t entirely bad but def tasted like the crab was off. Mind you the small plates you usually get at restaurants, these were paper…. PAPER . Might as well have ate at home … we go to order our food only to find out my burrito doesn’t come with a side. It’s a $15 burrito which at any other place you get a side…. And let me not get started on how loud the music was for the two tables they had there. Neither the server nor we could hear each other . Any question we asked about the menu she had no clue… I’ve worked in the restaurant business myself and have bs’d my way out of questions I didn’t gave an answer to but she wasn’t even trying . Overall this place has potential but it’s definitely more of a fast food vibe so don’t come with high hopes. That’s all.

Love the decor inside and out. The food was deliciously amazing. Had the hem chicken with rice didn’t need to add anything. While others had the oyster fried sandwich and I don’t eat oysters but it was great. The fries are like boardwalk fries no ketchup needed. While the third had the trio while good but wish it had more of a celery and onion taste but it was still good for added texture.
