This was our first time Blu Halo and we had a wonderful time in this beautifully decorated Restaurant. There is such a calm and soothing vibe and at the same time People were gathered around the bar, enjoying happy hour. The piano player was a wonderful addition and we truly enjoyed the music.

But the best part was definitely the food. We were a party of six and almost Everyone ordered something different. Our meals were delicious, Served hot and presented beautifully.

We had several people stop by our booth to ensure we were happy with our selections. Everyone was very attentive And we enjoyed this restaurant so much. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in the Saint Pete area. You will not be disappointed

Our table enjoyed the salmon, Cauliflower steak, Pork chop, hanger steak, and a pasta dish along with the side dish of brussels sprouts, which were fabulous. Sorry, I didn’t have pictures of everything

I stopped in for lunch here as an alternative to the closeted vibe of Bascom’s. This place is amazing. Greeted promptly. Seated quickly in a comfortable booth next to large windows. The atmosphere is modern, quiet and upscale but not snobby. Wendy my server was perfect: just the right level of attention. But the best is yet to come.

Appetizer and entree for me was turf then surf. The tenderloin tips were basically the most upscale stewed beef I had every had. They were perfectly cooked with a sauce of cheese (maybe Camembert ?) jalapeño peppers and fresh rosemary. There was a huge portion and worth the trip alone.

Entree was a blackened mahi sandwich with remoulade . It was a large portion of fresh fish expertly prepared.

Go no further than the house Cabernet although the wine list appears exhaustive.

French Haute Cuisine with German portions. Don’t hesitate.

We all liked the food, starting with the meatballs. Luckily there were 3, one for each of us to share. They were flavorful and tender. My harissa salmon, farm raised in Scotland, was the best dish, tasty and with a little heat that paired well with the salmon’s fat. Her pork chop was very good, if a degree more done than I would like it, covered with goat cheese and blueberries. My son’s hanger steak looked fantastic, perfectly medium rare, and he said was delicious. In addition to very good service by Addy I was pleasantly surprised when the chef came to answer my question about the origin of the salmon. The bar looked inviting and there was a live piano player this evening, though we ate by the open kitchen and only heard him as we were leaving. The prices are high. Too high, really. Thankfully they are part of the Resy family and American Express helps a bit with the bill.

Food was amazing! There’s a busy bar area and a more quiet dining area so you can choose what you prefer. Get there early for happy hour! Our service was top notch, Anthony was friendly and fun, always watching out for our needs (and making sure we got a final round of happy hour prices) Highly recommended. We will be back!

This place is AMAZING! Everything was beautifully plated, served in correct time, and so delicious! The mushroom risotto is a revelation, the pork chop was cooked perfectly, and the seafood was so fresh. Our servers Tyler, Mary, and Wendy gave us exceptional service, making our experience extra special!

Came here for brunch on two Saturdays in a row. I was quite surprised at how there was hardly anyone here on both visits, given its location surrounded by hundreds of high-rise apartments. Lots of convenient parking. We were able to park right out front both visits.

So far I’ve tried the chicken and waffle (the menu has it pluralized but it’s indeed a single large waffle), as well as the country benedict. The chicken and waffle is my favorite so far. The maple bacon bourbon glaze as well as the gravy are the perfect accompanyment to a perfectly cooked chicken and waffle. So much flavor in one dish! As for the country benedict, it was OK but the potatoes were just so underwhelming. So much efforts goes into the country benedict and the potatoes to me just take it down a few notches. It’s like from freezer to deep fryer potatoes. Home-made potatoes would really up the game of this dish and others.

Coctails are great. Gotta love $4 Mimosas (on special). Now let’s talk about the incredible desserts they offer. Specifically, the carrot cake. This quadruple layered piece of heaven will leave you breathless. This is one of the best slices of carrot cake I’ve ever had. It’s also the largest slice of carrot cake I’ve ever had, and at a very reasonable price! WOW. Just WOW. Even if you’re not a fan of carrot cake, this one slice of heaven will make you a fan. I had to ask our server where this thing of beauty was crafted. I couldn’t believe it when she told me that it’s all made in house. I would’ve bet money this was crafted at a very high end bakery somewhere. Kudos to the dessert chef(s). This is truly a work of art!

Definitely a place worth checking out. You won’t be disappointed.

I was thrilled to find this place and I know it will be a a go to favorite from now on. The atmosphere was so unique, with a bright blue baby grand piano and a circular bar. I’ve tried dinner and brunch the next day. The dishes were delicious and the service was spot on. The manager, Andy, stopped by to check on us too, which was a nice touch. There is outdoor patio seating and plenty of free parking.

The food here is honestly amazing. I went in not really knowing what to expect but pretty much everything we had was phenomenal. The cocktails were also really good, especially the smoked old fashioned and the lavender martini. The ribeye was so good especially with the 3 cheese smashed potatoes! Our server, Anthony, was also amazing and very friendly!

I would like to take my time to highlight some excellent points about this restaurant.

The restaurant location is very convenient and safe. The restaurant has a pretty blue vibe decoration, a very clean/organized stablisment.

I ordered the “Lavander Martini” OMG out of this world!!!! Smooth, incredible flavor, great aroma and deliciously perfect.
For appetizers:
* The Ahi Tuna Poke: Super fresh, excellent ingredients, the flavor was absolutely good.
* The Bikini Prawns: perfectly cooked, slightly cruncky and the dressing with the perfect spicy kicked.
For Main Course:
* The Harissa Salmon: Cooked in perfection temperature. Deliciously juicy and I enjoyed it a lot.
* Spinach Salad: absolutely fresh and a mix of delicious flavors.
* Side of Asparagus: out of this world, my PERFECT choice for a side, super delicious and the flavor blew my mind.

For dessert: (Complementary from the restaurant for my birthday)

* The Beignets: Absolutely warms, deliciously cooked and super great choice to share/enjoy with your loved ones.

The waitres:
Mary S, a super friendly, charismatic girl, super attentive, professional and made my night much better with her recommendations and subtitutions.

Blu Halo is our go to place!! They have the absolute best food and drinks we have had anywhere. We live in the neighborhood and it has become our staple. The atmosphere is great and the staff is wonderful! Tonight Yuliia B was our server and she was WONDERFUL. They were very busy and she balanced all of her tables with a genuine smile and fabulous attitude. She made our experience over the top great!! Thanks Yuliia and Blue Halo!
