Heads up for anyone ordering chow mein, some Chinese American restaurants (like this one) apparently have a different meaning of chow mein than the rest of us. instead of the noodle dish you expect, you’ll get chop suey (soupy, mostly celery, and meat) with a side of the crunchy noodles you put on soup.

I wish I would’ve read the reviews of this place before I spent my money here. Messed up our order but I assumed it was just bc they were busy so ate it anyway, chicken tasted unflavored and had a rubbery fish like texture that was really unappetizing. Spent like $40 on everything and the only mediocre thing were the crab rangoons, but you can’t mess those up (although I’m sure they’d find a way). I ended up throwing it all away after reading other reviews about food poisoning, please rethink going to this place. I think all these 5 star reviews are fake, read the other reviews and you’ll see the real opinion on this place. I have never written a review for any establishment but this place was so bad I wanna make sure nobody else has to deal with this.

This restaurant has an 83 from the health department. Disgusting place. Owner came out with gloves on covered in raw meat and was touching everything. Disgusting place. Don’t eat here.

Yet again messed my order up. I got shrimp and mixed veggies. Supposed 2 come with white rice, stated on menu. Came with fried rice and too rich for me 2 eat. The other time I went 2 weeks ago I ordered moo gai pain. Got home and it was chicken with mixed veggies. Don’t they double check there orders. Sad. I paid good money only to be disappointed twice. Check ur food before u leave. I told them and she said sorry but that doesn’t cut it

This has to be my favorite spot to get Chinese food. Unfortunately, after covid 2020 the quality of the food went down. I rarely ever visit now. I typically drive a further distance and go to Camden. I really hope they step it up and get back to fresher food. I miss having a good local spot!

Ordered chicken fried rice. I asked for grilled chicken (assuming it could be prepared grilled, the man taking our order thought I said “real chicken”).
I ate only a few mouthfuls. The chicken was boiled and rubbery and tasted terrible. My friend had paid, so I pretended I had eaten enough, and put the container in the fridge. Symptoms of food poisoning began 24 hours later. That night, the pain, vomiting bile, and excruciating bloating made me as sick as I have ever been. These horrible symptoms lasted throughout the night. I kept thinking about calling an ambulance, but I couldn’t imagine making it through the 45 minute drive to the ER. I couldn’t eat or even tolerate liquids for 48 hours. I live alone, and was afraid that I could pass out and be injured. It was 2 more days until the symptoms began to disappear. I AM REPORTING THIS RESTAURANT TO THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT.

These are some of the best people I know…Hard working family that has educated amazing children; chemical engineering, pharmacist and more coming.. They work ALL of the time and serve fantastic local Chinese food… it’s always fresh and high quality…the prices are a lot of food for your money…and Chinese rice is supposed to be sticky… it’s called sticky rice

I normally don’t leave bad reviews but this is the worst Chinese food I’ve eaten. I’m surprised this place is still open! When I called to place an order, the lady said “yeah”!? I knew I should had hung up. I went ahead and placed my order and then she said “okay”. The call ended. No how many minutes it’ll be or nothing. I drove up to the place and waited. I forgot how run down the place is. I got my order and went home. My family was grossed out. The food lacked flavor and the fried rice was gummy. I threw this mess into the garbage. A waste of time and money. I don’t know if Grandy has another Chinese restaurant but this is not it!

Absolutely disgusting! Went in to pick up food cook comes out with gloves covered in food. Reaches into a box to refill Togo sauces then grabs my debit card off the counter. I ask him if he always runs people’s cards in his gloves covered in food to which he responds yes. Watch him go back and start cooking. Paid and threw the food out on my way out the door. Nasty
