As fellow bbq connoisseur and bbq smoker i always want new business to succeed.. I’ve stopped twice and both times the brisket was almost not edible. Tough, rubber , fatty . Not cooked and rendered down like BBQ should be .. sauce made improvement. I want this restaurant to succeed but quality needs to be better.

Good BBQ in an ideal location, held back by the sauces. The meat would be great if I actually enjoyed the sauces to keep from feeling like I was eating dry meat. Honestly not a bad stop, but held back from being something special on the south side of Albuquerque.

I am hoping that due to the newness of this bbq joint they improve. The ribs were tough, and I am used to not fighting with my ribs. I like tender ribs. Not sure if I will give this place another try or not just yet. They were extremely fatty and the combo plate had some kind of chopped meats 2 types hot and plain, along with tough brisket. And a side of potato salad with a canned soda, for $18.00. The sauce was not good at all… too sweet and the brown sugar was overpowering.

Casey’s has been around a while, this is the newest location I can think of, just opened. Free coffee. So far you order at counter to take with or eat inside. Try it out.

The “Casey’s” sign has been taken down and the hours that were hastily painted on the building have been painted over. I don’t know who’s running the place but it isn’t Casey.

The food was very good. Some people have different opinions but I thought it was quite delectble.
