Very clean and professional environment. It was my first time here and the customer service was excellent. They explained to me how to order and what each item was thoroughly, they also gave me best seller recommendations and of course other choices to choose from. The “Poke” was on point too and delicious. Food was excellent and truth be told, Im not a chicken Katsu fan but I tried it and it was delicious and crispy, moist on the inside. This location is very clean and very family oriented, lots of parking too. Thank you folks for the first time experience and I will return again. Thank you

Food never tastes good when it’s overpriced. One small scoop of rice. One small scoop of protein and a side. Add a drink and the price goes from 7.99 to 15 dollars. I added a small tip, like 1.70. It was very mediocre tasting. I was not impressed at all. There are MUCH better alternatives that not only cost less, give you more product, but actually make you smile when you taste it. No chance of returning to this place.

The place looks modern and clean, and the staff is friendly — no complaints there. But unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. For a Hawaiian BBQ spot, the prices are definitely on the higher end, and I’m not sure why. Maybe it’s the location or lack of competition in the area?
What really disappointed me were the portion sizes — they’re tiny. I ordered a regular plate with chicken teriyaki and poke. The poke came in a small cup, maybe 2 oz at most, and it had an odd flavor that didn’t sit right with me. The teriyaki chicken portion was even smaller, which was surprising. The mac salad? Just a small scoop, and the same goes for the rice.
We also got a mini poke plate, and as you can see in the pictures, those portions were just as small. The only things that came in decent amounts were the kimchi cabbage and garlic edamame, which isn’t really what you’re going there for.
Overall, it’s hard for me to recommend this place to friends or family. It looks great on the outside, but the food and value just don’t match up.

I was excited to try this place because we miss local food and this place is close to our home. The food was “okay.” I was really disappointed by the inconsistency of portion size. One plate had way more katsu than the other and the worker tried to tell me that it weighed the same. Also, they charge extra for pulehu or teriyaki steak but it’s not even steak more like teri beef, shredded up. The mochiko chicken is on the bone, never had it like that, always boneless. They charge more for that too I believe.

Stopped by after a few weeks of being open. It’s a pretty good-sized restaurant. The only gripe i have is that the service was slow.
Walk up to the counter from the right side to choose your dish. Wr waited in line for about 15 minutes, and there weren’t a lot of people in front of me. There were about 4 people on the back counter. One guy was working his butt off with taking making each order. Everyone else was standing and chatting with each other. After 10+ minutes, one person who was standing in the make ready line decided to help. It went much smoother after that. Poor guy, though, that his teammates didn’t help at first.
Food:
Kalua Pig, Pulehu, 2 scoop rice, Edamame
Mochiko Chicken, Spicy Ahi, 2 scoop rice and Mac salad.
I was not a fan of the mochiko chicken. It lacked flavor.
The meats are tasty, and the Mac salad is good.
Overall, it is a great addition to North Las Vegas.

This place has AMAZING food. I have disregarded the past 1 star reviews as some were rating based on the race of the customers and employees (which has no place on reviewing a restaurant) and had a debate on portion sizes. I based my 5 stars on food, service, and atmosphere. The chicken katsu was crispy and moist. The kim chi salad was on point and spicy and the ahi poke contained nice big chunks and good flavor. Macaroni salad is good as well . Portion wise, I got a good amount for 1 person. Items are weighed to equally distribute food customer to customer. It’s fair that this is done..so you won’t get less one visit or more on another visit. Food is fresh as it is grilled right behind the counter for you to see. Overall, good aloha atmosphere and will return!

The restaurant is very clean and well lit. The staff are young but friendly and helpful. The food is good here, but it wasn’t Hot enough. The food was Loop Warm. By the time we sat down to eat the food it was getting colder because of the AC blowing. So we ate a little and took the rest home. Not complaining about the AC only the food needed to be Warmer towards Hot. Overall price was okay, we got the $12 medium sized.
