Where do I begin?! The atmosphere is so chill and relaxed. The ascetic is very much up my alley.
The service is incredible, friendly, and attentive and makes you feel like your home.
The food, if the food tasted even HALF as good as it smelled, it was already promising, but let me say it was ABOVE AND BEYOND incredible! My wife got the chicken loaded nachos, and I got BBQ brisket loaded potato. The brisket is fantastic! Tender! IT WAS HEAVENLY!
We tried each others and the chicken is delicious, but the strong flavors hide it just a touch.
But that powerful brisket flavor punches through, and man, it’s to die for.
We also got and order of Soul Rolls to share and all the other reviews are correct you ABSOLUTELY have to try them. Once again chicken gets a little hidden so personal lean more towards brisket for this as well.
100 % my wife and I will be making this a regular destination.
Overall, 5 stars the soul is brought HARD in this food. We loved it!

Western KY is not short on BBQ joints, but we are short on amazing brisket plate lunches! Outside of the top notch meat, the turnip greens were mouth watering! The candied yams were not too sweet. And the banana pudding rivaled my grandma’s! To be fair, the unedited music and nightclub style atmosphere may give pause to some stuffed shirts and families with small kids, but the friendly staff and delectable food is the superstar here and well worth a visit.

This place offers a delicious home cooked meal vibe, with so much flavor and happiness in every bite! We had brisket, smoked bbq chicken, Rib tips and rice, Soul Rolls ( ), yams, collard greens, and Mac and cheese… then a peanut butter explosion cake for dessert… we still haven’t ate it all but def will! A must return to the the rest of the menu! We just got “Home Plated”
