“Old Coupon, New Name, Same Great Spirit”
I stopped by Charleys Cheesesteaks today with a surprise from the past, a coupon from the Charley’s Grilled Subs era that didn’t have an expiration date. Truthfully, I had no idea they had gone through a rebranding. I always thought it was the same Charley’s that had been at Westmoreland Mall for years and apparently, it is, just with a fresh name.
At first, there was some hesitation from the staff, which I completely understood. It was an old coupon, and they weren’t sure if it was still valid. But they took the time to call the manager, and in the end, they honored it. I ended up just paying for fries, and they covered the drink.
I really appreciated the kindness and willingness to go the extra step. It’s rare to see that kind of customer service anymore. I’m glad I didn’t just toss the coupon and glad I didn’t make a long drive only to be turned away. The whole thing brought back a little bit of nostalgia, and I thought that was worth sharing.

Warm comfort food on a chilly night. Got the regular cheese steak combo – about $15. Plenty of hot, juicy, steaky, cheesey food. Fries were golden brown. Service was friendly with plenty of smiles and thank yous, maybe even a gracias thrown in.

Charley’s cheesesteaks located in the food court in Westmoreland Mall is a good fairly inexpensive place to eat. They have a half chicken with fries and a drink special every day, it is more than enough for me to eat.
They hand out samples if you want to try before you buy.
They do get pretty busy around lunch and dinner time.

11 something for a small sub with fries and a small drink. It’s pricey, but the chicken is great tasting. The fries were hot and crispy. The people were friendly, and the food was made quick.

They hired workers that don’t speak English. Pitiful looking sandwich, tasted alright. Just an overall confusing experience.

Went to Charley’s today and ordered a Bacon 3 Cheese sub with a side order of cheese fries. When the people behind me go their order before me I asked why they made their order before mine. They said they were waiting on fries. I said, okay and waited. After 20 minutes I asked if the fryer was broken. I got served my food 25 minutes after ordering only to find out they rung me up for the wrong order. Instead of a Bacon 3 Cheese sub and cheese fries, they rung me up for bacon cheese fries and cheese fries. After wasting nearly 30 minutes of my time, I asked for my money back and went to Chick-fil-a where I was in and out in 5 minutes with my correct order. Never going back. The people working didn’t even have the courtesy to apologized after all of that.

Food is bland and very over-priced. The workers don’t understand English so if there is any issue, good luck having it resolved. Don’t waste your money here, go to any other vendor in the food court.
