Do not miss this spot at the end of the spit towards Lands End!! Especially on a sunny day this place is a vibe and it’s so Alaska and so Homer! You can order your meal, then go inside Salmon Sisters to shop for ribs to try on your fresh catch, cute new XtraTufs, and many other things. I have the tofu bowl and I chose to get it with the egg because I wasn’t sure how filling it might be without, next time, I will likely get it without egg (since I don’t eat a lot of eggs). It was so colorful, flavorful and very filling! I was even able to watch some of the nearby eagles flying to and from their nest while I enjoyed my meal and soaked up some sunshine.

Oh my god…..look at these bowls!!! Not only are they beautiful, but also Incredibly delicious! So many fresh and tasty vegetables and the protein in all the bowls were so good! We got the poke bowl, the cooked sockeye bowl and the pork belly! Don’t pass up on any of them, especially the pork! Best meal we ate in Homer!

Are. You. Kidding. Me?!?

Stop looking for food, you found it. If the pictures don’t convince you, then let me tell you a tale of bright-crisp flavors, fish so fresh it almost feels like a crime to eat it, and flavor combinations both adventurous and familiar to absolutely HIT the spot. Most memorable meal of my entire trip.

For the rest of my life I will be measuring my poke bowl experiences against this perfection

This is essentially a kiosk/window to reportedly get awesome food. Then you sit outside and enjoy – some tables have cover and some don’t. We actually went on a Thursday and they should have been open, but they were not so we just looked at the menu with a broken heart. Note to self – call before you go!

Johnny’s Corner rocks! Well worth the drive to the end of Homer Spit! I got the the Salmon poke bowl and husband got the Halibut bowl. Got our orders to go as I had to get a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc to pair with the salmon. Delicious! Both meals were amazing. Highly recommend!

Picked up the sockeye salmon poke bowl! It’s delicious. The fish is fresh and tasty. But it’s a bit too saucy for me

When locals recommend … LISTEN! The Poke bowls were bursting with layered flavors and textures. The kimchi and mushrooms were out of this world. For pescatarian this is your euphoric experience. Located in the same building as the salmon sisters Johnny’s corner is on the corner of the building selling out of their window with plenty a picnic seating covered and in the sun out of the wind.
The ball were enormous and enough for two people to walk away feeling like they ate too much.
The only recommendation we might have is to add a little more rice to mix in with the flavors, but that’s hardly a complaint when normally we have the reverse experience of too much rice and too little poke.
Delicious and worth every penny !

Really good food! I had the Adak (Hazelnut crusted Halibut). So fresh! It had these mushrooms I could have eaten a bowl of. The mango relish was super fresh. I wish I knew about this place sooner. I probably would have eaten here every day.
The chicken was delicious as well. Very flavorful! Should have got a couple orders to go, heat it up on the boat during one of our fishing expeditions.
The chef is on point with his flavors. Each dish is very thought out and has different textures that complement each other very well.
Must stop spot in Homer.

Was in town visiting from North Pole, found this amazing place right on the spit. Love the color and the flavors were great! Outdoor seating has cover from the rain if needed. We will stop here again next time we are in the area.

By far the best thing I’ve eaten…EVER! I’ve been following @johnnyscornerak for a bit and could not wait to experience this while in Homer, AK. Worth ever single penny and every single praise.
