Great little place! Most likely 4-stars is more appropriate but I’m upping them to the full 5 based on location. There just aren’t that many unique little specialty restaurants in the area so each one is a little more noticeable.
I had an absolutely disappointing Reuben the day before visiting these guys. In short, I needed to fix my sandwich karma and a do-over at a different place was just the ticket.
Big bread, cheese on both sides, enough kraut and just enough pastrami to make a great sandwich. The grill is right behind the counter so you literally get to watch your food being prepared. Pretty cool!
Sandwich was excellent! Real butter, not oil or spray on the grill. Crispy bread, gooey cheese, griddled pastrami, enough kraut and a reasonable thousand island dressing combine to create a really solid Reuben.

Welcoming & Chill vibe. Tasty food that’s worth the stop. The guy who runs it treats you like family and the food tastes like it was made just for you.
Partner had the Rueban and he said it was probably the best he’d ever had – perfect ratio of ingredients. I enjoyed the soup and cheesy mac. Had to take a pic of the light sign in the restroom. ☺️

Really enjoyed the food here and the vibe of the cafe area. The bike shop / cafe thing is an older concept now but still holds up.
Cuban panini and bacon Gouda Mac were both excellent and a variety of beverages and sides were available but we just shared a Diet Coke
Lots of families here around lunch time, kids must love the grilled cheese. Would definitely come back here if I lived in the area

The wife and I have been here a couple of times in the past month and had some awesome sandwiches. Today (9-21-24) we had the cuban and the jalapeno popper. Both were delicious but I like the jalapeno popper just a little bit more. Whatever you do don’t pass on the beer cheese soup! Totally worth the stop if you’re ever in rice lake.

Nice little stop on the way through. Sandwiches were average, but met the mark. Awesome folks and cool little shop. Ask them to go easy on the mustard on the Cuban sandwich if you’re a Cuban fan.

Cold Brew!! Sea salt caramel added and heavy cream. OMG was he right!
Sat at a bistro table outside. It was a delightful afternoon!!
