We got a French dip sandwich & the kids mac n cheese. My 9 year old loves the Mac n cheese, however, the French dip was built for Polly pocket, and the meat was semi-equivalent to a rubber band. I’d have given 3 stars had I not been forced to give a tip. I tried to bypass, and the man hit the back button, so I was forced into tipping solely for someone to take my order at a register (I’m fine tipping to be waited on, but tipping for someone to tap a screen is a little ridiculous). Oh, for a 6 inch French dip, kids meal ($6.99) and two drinks I paid $40. Way overpriced, but typical California.

Walked through door, the four people behind the counter turned to look at me, but NO ONE said “welcome in.” I stood looking at the menu on the wall NO ONE said, “let us know if you need help with anything” or let us know when you’re ready to order.” I STILL chose to spend money. I walk closer to the register to indicate that I was ready to order, and as I stood there someone else came in and they were greeted and “helped” before I was addressed. I STILL chose to spend money. I know! Silly me! After assisting the person that entered the store after me, I was finally asked what I wanted. I placed my order and took a seat. Once my order was ready – mushroom flatbread – I opened the box to see that I had ALL OF 8 SLICED PIECES of mushroom on the flatbread. I closed the box and proceeded to the door. NOT ONE OF THE FIVE PEOPLE BEHIND THE COUNTER – another person came from the back and by the way they were dressed I’ll assume they were the manager and possibly the owner – said “thank you,” “thank you for coming in,” “we appreciate your business,” “hope to see you again,” “bye,” “have a good day,” enjoy the rest of your day,” NOTHING! FIRST impressions STILL mean something and because of my experience this is my FIRST AND LAST time in this establishment.

They don’t do phone orders. I called and they said online or Doordash only. I don’t use doordash, so I had to look up thier website and place an order. Make sure you pick the correct location. Ordered a smoked brisket sandwich and vegetable soup. So good. Sourdough soft and warm. Fresh.Tasty. Will order again.

Today 8-5-25 the sandwiches were not good at all there was 2 guys fixing the sandwiches and whoever did our did a poor job ,1- the bread ,I had to fight it just to get a bite 2- where was the meat I ordered, all we got was alot of lettuce and whatever else they put in there, no onions which would have made the sandwiches taste good .Now before when we came the sandwiches was made by females and they were very good ,We were disappoint with the sandwiches today, we actually came home and made them better with our own foods and ingredients, bring back the girls they make way better sandwiches than those guys. If we come again I will look to see if the girls are making the sandwiches ,and if not I’m moving on to make my own sandwich. The female clerks was very pleasant, but the sandwich maker,I give it a thumbs down.

Usually the food is pretty good, but was disappointed with my last turkey sandwich order. The sandwich was grossly over sauced and washed out the flavor of everything else.

Used their app to order. Good pics and description. Was ready to go when I arrived. Just the way I ordered it. Fresh, tasty, yummy. Sourdough bread was crunchy on the outside, fluffy soft on the inside.
