The Feed Mill was recommended to us from a shop we stopped at. We had coffee, lunch and took treats to go. The staff was very friendly, my salad was fresh & tasty and I enjoyed my lemon bar on our drive home. Highly recommend a stop at the Feed Mill.

Great little coffee shop. I love the atmosphere in here: high ceiling and soft music. The coffee is really good and with free refills. I had a breakfast burrito and that was probably one of the best ones I have ever had. The prices are very reasonable. I sat here comfortably for a couple hours doing some work and enjoy my coffee. I will definitely be back.

Angela at the Feed Mill helped me with all the food to host a bridal shower for 100 people. She made the process so easy and gave me many options to pick from. The pick up was simple and she had everything packaged so conveniently. We received so many compliments on the food and coffee, everyone loved it. We are so lucky to have Angela and her team at the Feed Mill here in Algona! It’s a great place for a quick coffee or for catering!

We hosted a baby shower upstairs at the Feed Mill Coffee Co. We served their quiche and mini scones with some of our own items. The food was delicious. Angela and Paul were as accommodating as they could be with the amount of daily traffic they were managing at the counter. I would recommend making sure they have a chair count way in advance so you don’t have to wash the chairs yourself. They have a nice storage area so you don’t have to take all the empty decoration totes home, but can just refill them after your event. They also allowed us to use some private space to prepare food in another area of the building which was great. Would have given a 5 stars if we wouldn’t have had to wash chairs… Don’t let that persuade you from renting the space because the chairs are clean now.

I’ve been several times and have loved it every time. Today, however, I got a sandwich to go, and when I got to where I was going, the bread was hard as a rock. I called up, and they explained that the bread maker sometimes over cooks the bread, understandable. My only option was they would make me another one, and I could go back and pick it up, they did not offer a refund and I was not in a situation to go back and get another sandwich that may or may not be hard as a rock.

We always stop at the Feedmill when driving across the state on Hwy 18. There are always delectable items in the cases snd the beverages are executed to order – love that they will make a drink extra hot without commentary (some shops will comment that it will taste burnt) – but not the Feedmill – they serve what you request and it is always perfect.

Literally the best coffee. The girls are always able to suggest something when I’m looking for something new. Always a friendly environment. Love seeing the employees laugh and have fun at work. It’s clean. The food there from what I tried is good. Best biscuits and gravy I’ve ever had. Highly recommend this little coffee shop.
