We had a wonderful evening, the steak was one of the best either of us had ever had, we wished we ordered bigger portions!
Despite a mix up on our part with our booking everyone made the extra effort to accommodate us despite being full, which was much appreciated.

Was taken to this amazing restaurant whilst on a business trip. The interior is amazing, having a lot of old world charm. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. The food was the star, I’ve not had a steak that good in a very long time

Long story short: there was a mouse roaming around the dinning tables. But the rest, friendly and attentive service, and good food.
Maybe it’s me, but I definitely do not enjoy to have dinner at a restaurant and see a mouse running around. This happened around 20:15 so the peak hour had passed, so luckily not many people saw it… but this is something that in my opinion, rhe restaurant owners need to take seriously. Steak is a restaurant not a street food, so a mouse in the dining area is really bad (imo!)

A true paradise for steak lovers! The meat is tender, cooked to perfection, and melts in your mouth. Great atmosphere, flawless service. Highly recommended!

Definetely recommend booking ahead as this place is very busy. No wonder-it is THE PLACE TO BE for a great atmosphere, professional staff and amazing food. The service was absolutely amazing, attentive, explained everything we needed to know before choosing from the menu. Always ready to fill up our glasses and to ask if we are happy with everything. I ordered a glass of wine and then we aksed for the whole bottle however the wine did not taste the same-probably because it was freshly opened and did not have a chance to breathe. The waitress offered to open another bottle with a smile on her face. We did not want it and kept the one that was already opened but it was a good test to see the reaction. The steak was amazing and if you are a veggie like me, do not worry, there are dishes to choose from. So, all in all, if you are looking for the WHOLE EXPERIENCE it is 100% recommended-the best in Alkmaar (so far :).

It’s a restaurant over several floors. It looks more beautiful from the outside. The staff is attending throughout the night until the end (we don’t see that everywhere). The food is oke nothing special but for the price I personally think it’s a bit too high priced. Overall a nice place to go to.

Everything was amazing. It would s hard to determine which was better; the food or the service. There were no tables available so they were gracious and created a very intimate, and cozy where the service was above and beyond. We have plans to return to Alkmaar next month because of this restaurant.

I enjoyed the best steak burger twice , and the steak with wine sauce was exceptional . The staff is super friendly❤️, the vibe is cozy, and the enticing aroma upon entering tells you it’s a foodie’s haven
and all this deliciousness comes at a reasonable price, will definitely be back to try their fish
