The food was really good. We had meatloaf, field peas, rice, and macaroni with cornbread. My meatloaf was missing out of my plate, and they were so courteous and generous enough to volunteer to bring it to me. The best customer service I ever had in life thus far. We will definitely be back. Oh yeah they were out of ribs because we went close to closing time but they had a piece for us to sample and they were finger licking good. Definitely a hidden gem.

We were driving to columbus when we saw the smoke and decided that we would stop on our way back home. Was soooo worth the stop. The gentleman who prepared our food was so nice as well as the lady who check us out. But the food… 11/10. The ribs were some of the best ribs that I have had in a while, the mac and cheese fantasic, and the collard greens were delicious. I hope to go back very soon to try their other meals!

My husband and I tried today for first time. We got ribs Mac and cheese and green beans. Good portion of food. Very tasty, great price. Nice staff and very clean. Would definitely recommend.

I saw the smoke when I passed by on the way to Opelika and decided to try it out. I’m so glad I did because the food was delicious! I had the ribs with bbq slaw, baked beans and cabbage. The ribs and slaw reminded me of a restaurant I used to love that’s been closed for over a 2 decades. So, needless to say, it was a delight to come across this Latonya’s. To add, the people were very friendly, the service was quick, and I’ll definitely be back!

The ribs! The food was so fresh and delicious. Their bbq sauces were the cherry on top for the ribs we had. I was offered a sample while I waited which I thought was very kind, and affirmed our decision on going with the ribs. We will be back!

Food is good and fresh. I have tried ribs, meatloaf, fried catfish, baked chicken , hamburger steak and various sides; yams, collards, Mac n cheese, etc. I would definitely recommend especially when you don’t want to cook or tired of fast food.
