Folks, this is some serious good stuff here at @GFY ! If you like fried chicken, and who doesn’t? Well this is tops and it’s gluten free too! I normally order extra gluten wherever I eat but it is certainly not missed here in Chef Nick Brune’s creations. Hot and crispy, spicy and savory. Any way you want it Nick can probably do it!
I tried the chicken sando and loved it. The slaw that comes with it is the bomb and adds a little creamy crunch that calls you back for another bite. What really makes it though is the rice flour (GF) and a quick flash fry by someone who knows what they are doing. @ghostfried
I cannot help but mention the sauces tailored for everyone’s taste. From mild to wild just for you, it’s all here! I asked Nick how hot they were and he recommended mixing the Burn Notice and the Ghost Gone Wild and wow! My head was about to explode something I’m sure you fellow chili heads can relate to. See the pic below for the sauces, they’re rocking it.
Located just off 98 E at the Truxtop Food Court in Gulf Breeze, the location is just after the National Live Oaks preserve on the right as you are heading towards Navarre. The recently opened food truck court has seating and also features an Alga spot for your fav cold beverage. Summer Hours Open Wed. and Thur 11-3 & 430-7; Fri, Sat 11-3 & 5-830 Sun. 11-3.
Come on down and give Ghost Fried Chicken a try, you wont be disappointed! Maybe I will see you there, I’ll definitely be going back.

I have not been able to have fried chicken in the last 15 years. I saw ghost fried and it mentioned it was gluten free and I had to try the chicken. It was wonderful to have fried chicken again! No amount of words can explain the joy of finding this ghost fried. Had to get the 4 piece to have extra for later. It is good cold too.

I had the nuggets and they would have been great if they had been white meat but all that I had was dark meat. Also would have been helpful if the menu stated they were not white meat. But the fries were very good. Service was good but not a fan of dark meat chicken so not for me.

This was absolutely the best chicken we have ever had!!! What an amazing Food Truck!!!! The service was great!!! I strongly recommend this place to anyone in the area or any out of town beach people. Trust me, it is worth i!!! I ordered the chicken sandwich which was so Delicious. My son had the chicken tenders and Fries. My wife had the 3 piece meal—the skin was perfect and the meat was juicy—–Perfection!!!! I think my favorite was the Sauce(s) that are available. We tried all 6 of them—-I think my favorite was the Hot Honey. Nick, the owner was there and he could not have been nicer. We look forward to being frequent Guests here!!!

Such an amazing food truck. It’s really great to have a gluten free option like this- it’s rare that we can find gluten free chicken nuggets for our allergic son.
We had the nuggets and the 3 piece plate. All dark meat and all wonderfully seasoned and juicy. It tastes like top tier Thai fried chicken. Fries were crinkle cut and seasoned with (I think) Lowry’s which is always great.

I stopped here to par take in the gluten free breading on their chicken. The over all meal was good I got the bites and it seemed that two of them were less than ideal portions of chicken. The taste was good wish they gave more fries for the price but not a big deal. I would recommend you give this place a try

The chicken is top notch and is fried in a style that reminds us so much of fried chicken when we lived in Korea! The chicken sandwich is perfectly fried with the chicken staying juicy. Great sauce choices and fresh pickle with coleslaw to top it off. A weekly stop for us, definitely recommend you try it out!

Absolutely delicious fried chicken! Super crispy, great flavor from first bite to last. Looking forward to trying everything on the menu on my next visit. The food truck is a new addition to The TruxTop Food Court, and local brewery (Alga Beer) will be opening an outlet there any day now! Fried chicken, craft beer, and Florida Panhandle beaches – what a combination!
