The food was okay. The burger was fine, a little small. Not too much flavor in it. I got The Works. A regular burger with an egg on it. Some pickles, lettuce and onion. But it cost 18 dollars. It was a simple burger with an egg on it. It wasnt worth that much money. Also had a side of fries that tasted like they had been sitting under a heat lamp for a while before being served to us. Our waiter also asked if we wanted any sauce for dipping. Like ranch. Then charged us 75 cents for it. Which isnt a big amount of money, but it just feels scummy that he didnt warn us that they were about to charge us extra for ranch when he made it sound like it was free. That ontop of the 20 dollar burger and the 4 dollar cup of soda made for a very expensive mediocre meal.

The waiter and waitress were nice though. They checked in on us a couple of times and were friendly enough.

My problems with the atmosphere are more of a personal preference than anything else. It was a bar. And it was rowdy, lots of rowdy people, and lots of very loud TV playing sports. Sports that would then switch to an even LOUDER ad after like 10 mins. I cant tell you how much I personally detest advratisments and commercials. Trying to enjoy a meal but all I can hear is an ad for iphones and multi vitamin gummies blasting into my ears. But like I said, this is personal preference. I understand that most bars have loud customers and loud tvs playing.

I’m only giving two stars because our waitress was wonderful! The atmosphere was messy, trash everywhere and broken tables outside. The food was nothing impressive and pricy. We had 8 people at our table. We all ordered different food items and all of us were not satisfied. I didn’t catch our waitress name, she had pretty curly brown hair. She was very patient and kind to all of us, and was very quick on serving us drinks/food/and any other needs.

Smoked salmon chowder delicious!
Fresh side salad, shoestring fries, yum. Chicken wings were fresh, non breaded. We enjoyed our lunch & Manny’s beer. Great service. Will go back when in area. 10 stars

They have good beer and a good vibe and the chef and servers are very attentive to dietary needs and preferences. They have an Impossible burger and a gluten free bun, and the chef really knows what different dietary restrictions mean. The arrangement of the seating is also really well done, we’ve never been sat uncomfortably. It’s a great place to spend an evening.

Oh my Gosh Pour House Pete’s is a bar food foody’s delight.

Any place that does fried green beans is worthy of a visit inmy book!

Their cheesy tots are like little puffs of creamy and cheese potato delight! I really enjoy them dipped in their sweet barbecue sauce.

Their burgers are all hand formed and come out done, yet still very juicy.

But my favorite is their meatballs! They are like little rolled up pieces of meatloaf. And its great meatloaf with just the right amount of filler to balance the ground beef. All of it is hand mixed and formed, you can practically taste the care and Luv put into each one. I’ve tried them with marinara, spicy barbecue and teriyaki. My favorite is their sweet barbecue sauce.

And if you partake in any libations I believe that you will be happy. I usually get a Sprite with lemonade. I have no idea how they make their lemonade, but it is just the right amount of tart and sweet.

I personally recommend Pour House Pete’s in Carnation for their food and friendly and inclusive environment!

Man all I want in a bar is character comfort cooking creativity and connection.
Not much to ask I’d say. Pete’s has it all!
The bar itself had so much character in the craftsmanship and age.
The Atmosphere and the people made it feel comfortable like home!
The Kitchen was open almost til closing!
There were plenty of places for me to sit and create!
And the people were easy to connect with. Like I wasn’t a stranger anymore.
Crissy even said I could push my bicycle through the bar (I didn’t)
