I came in for Restaurant Week with a few friends and had a nice overall experience. I ordered the gnocchi and the crispy cauliflower. The cauliflower was enjoyable, with the sauce being the best part as it added a lot of flavor to the dish. The gnocchi was also good, though it’s quite rich and very flavor-forward, so it felt a bit heavy by the end.

For dessert, I had the tiramisu. It was good, but I do have high standards for tiramisu and have had better in Columbus, so this one didn’t quite stand out for me.

Overall, it was a pleasant Restaurant Week dinner with a nice atmosphere. While I enjoyed trying it during Restaurant Week, if I were choosing an Italian restaurant in Columbus outside of that context, I would probably explore other options.

A cute and cozy little restaurant! There’s plenty of parking in the lot and a decent amount of seating inside. I would make a reservation if you can, especially on the weekend because it does fill up.

The drinks are good and pretty unique! I liked the different flavors they offer. I think my favorite dish is the Butter Chicken Alla Vodka. I feel like this dish is pretty consistently good and I would recommend. The other pasta dishes I’ve tried are usually good but sometimes they’re made inconsistently. Overall, the pasta and the drinks are good!
I would recommend the Tres Leche Tiramisu cake! It’s my favorite dessert here and it’s made very well, flavorful, and delicious.

Staff is super nice and accommodating! They are great and make the experience better.

I would recommend for a casual date, small groups, and a delicious meal! The mall is next door and you can walk around if you’re waiting for a table or an activity for after dinner.

It’s not traditional as the title says. I tried the butter chicken. It’s a Indian dish but they put a spin on it. The portion size is small for the price. The sause is creamy and the pasta is fresh. The chicken is very tender. The dish was ok but I needed to be served with bread so you can get all the sauce off the bowl. I take points off for that. They give you a menu for a 4 course meal without a price. Not cool but just ask. The starter was red and green burrata. It was pesto and sun dried tomatoes it can with bread. Not bad! Desert was a mango creme brulee. It was good but needed of the carmelized top. With that said I left hungry because of the small portion. Would I come back or take a friend form out of town. I would say no. Why? The portion size and no bread. If you are hungry I would go elsewhere. The place seems it was created for drinks more than food. I think they tried to gourmet Indian food and if you have been following me you know I always say you can’t gourmet soul food. Indian food is soul food. Soul of India. The atmosphere was ok. It’s night a place to have a quiet romantic meal at all. It’s more of a meet and great for a snack place. They have outdoor seats. The inside in November was a little cold. However they did sit us by a garage style door that opens. They have high tables and seats and a few low tables. Overall the food was good but not memorable.

Seeking some fresh air I hopped on my lamorfeeties and took a 12° F stroll around Polaris Fashion place, on a holiday Monday at 8pm.

My feet normally find their way to an Eat & Play situation but even D&B but I never expected they would step into new-to-me Flour Modern Pasta Bar.

I saddled up to the bar and decided to try the Butter Chicken – mild by request.

I didn’t even want a drink but what’s a man to do when they go and put truffle oil over ice in a Bulleit-built Old Fashioned.

The pairing was so amazing I suddenly wasn’t sure if I was experiencing Indian fusion, at a speakeasy, or back on holiday in Venice.

The server was full of kindness and well defined recommendations – right up to bringing the bill when she threw in a must-watch homework assignment.

She was right about Netflix’s “Falling into You” too, something my algorithm would never have put in front of me.

The air was indeed crisp — but the Breath of Fresh Air was a whole much needed vibe.

I am writing to share my excellent experience during my recent visit to Flour Pasta Bar.
The food and service were truly great. We opted for the $40 package, which included a three-course meal and refreshing cocktails. We loved both the taste and the presentation of the dishes. Specifically, the entree dish of pasta was a unique and delicious fusion of Italian and Asian flavors. The salad presentation was unique and tasted great. Portions were good. They serve variety of refreshing fusion cocktails, highly recommend them for their uniqueness and taste. Fresh tiramisu dessert was good and they bake fresh sweet bread as desert and it was delicious. The manager/ owner of Flour was friendly and made sure the service and food was top notch. We will definitely be visiting again. Keep up the good work!

Interesting concept. Take all kinds of house made pasta and pair it with dishes from around the world. That’s what this place does. In addition to common pairings like spaghetti with a marinara sauce and burrata, they offer a butter chicken. Beef Keema, roasted corn and jalapeños and more. Add appetizers, salads, desserts, and a bar and you have the whole shebang.

Our server was great, the manager came over to check on us frequently and the experience was overall very nice.

They offer a four course tasting menu to which you can append a drink package. That would be a lot of food so plan on taking it home.

Amazing from start to finish. The guava margarita was refreshing and perfectly balanced. Appetizers were all hits — flavorful shrimp, sweet caramelized pears, and a bold, creamy hot chipotle chicken dip. The mushroom carbonara pappardelle was rich, silky, and absolutely delicious. Finished with a light, decadent tres leches dessert. Incredible food, great flavors — can’t wait to return!
