On top of that, the service was excellent — the staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. You can really tell they care about both the food and the customers.
Overall, the flavors are outstanding, the service is great, and the experience was very satisfying. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great skewers. Definitely a must-try!
I also love the well lit and modern décor. The restaurant is spacious, and the music playlist is nice not too loud. They even offer dishes like pig blood and grilled stinky tofu. The cucumber salad is a standout too the portion is huge. The staff are friendly and attentive. I like that they have variety of choice but not overwhelming with choices. They even have hot food and fried rice so it’s suitable for family as well.
The aesthetic on the inside looks so.. cozy modern futuristic? Haha I’m awful at describing, but I loved all the lights and bright colors while still looking clean! I was curious if we had to cook the skewers ourselves, but they come out already cooked and the little table griller is to keep them warm/cook more if you want! The skewers tasted just like the ones you get from a cart in New York and my boyfriend and I absolutely loved it! They also give you a side of extra seasoning if you want more flavor 🙂
My boyfriend also decided to order us a milk tea since it didn’t have boba (so it’d be slightly more healthier ) And it was that classic milk tea taste that isn’t overly sweet, and we LOVEDD it!
The staff were also quick and so kind! We really enjoyed this spot and would highly recommend to other skewer lovers!
I went today with two friends from my old dining club. The food had a few misses but most dishes were exceptional and at hot from the kitchen. I would rate the food a 4.5 based on today’s selection. We were all really pleased with the attentive team service. The restaurant was quiet and clean.
Basically I had two misses in me menu choices. The Sauteed Pea Shoots with Garlic had no flavor. Not of Pea Shoots nor of Garlic. It was very watered down. At $18.99 for this dish, my total bill would have dropped from the 70s closer to the low 50s had I just skipped this lack luster dish.
Oddly none of us liked our Lamb Skewers and we are all huge Lamb fans! That was one of the main reasons we selected this restaurant was to try the Lamb. The 3 Beef Skewers was surprisingly much better.
The rest of order was a solid 5.
We were all impressed with the Black Truffle Beef Rib Fried Rice. I could totally order just this plate!! Nice balance of Black Truffles and Beef Rib. The fried rice had a nice flavor without being dosed in soy sauce.
I really liked the Grille Taiwan Sausage. It is a la carte $2.49 for one Sausage on a Skewer. Next time I would order more than one.
I actually didn’t read the reviews when putting together my menu choices. I had read the National Franchise Menu and selected which items I most wanted to try.
This location does not have all of the National Franchise Menu items. So I would plan a few extra choices in case the option is not available.
I had to cross out a few items and at the last minute ordered a last dish of Foil Baked Oysters with Onsen Egg..This dish and the Black Truffle Beef Rib Fried Rice were the stars if this meal. I got three large oysters piping hot with an Onsen Egg in a savory sauce.
For a beverage, I chose Rose Milk Tea. However, they do not have Asian Tapioca Boba. They have fruity liquid Mango Flavored Pearls.
Normally, I take more food photos but I ended up taking lots of friends photos at this gathering.
Definitely on our repeat list!
Also! Thank you for having clean, working bathrooms.
