Former golf course clubhouse turned community hub, The Cedars Public House is an expanding multi-faceted gathering place for all ages. Our restaurant features an eclectic selection of elevated americana curated to satisfy a variety of palettes. Our full service bar features 16 taps as well as craft cocktails. We feature live music every Friday and Saturday evening and fun activities such as Bingo and Trivia. The Diamond Ballroom hosts public events like Comedy Night and can also be booked for private events of all sizes. The Parlor features amenities including our craft Coffee Bar serving beans from local roaster, Relevant Coffee, a Maker’s Market stocked with curated goods, and a small Bodega with basic groceries and grab n’ go foods.

What a great place! The cocktails were amazing, from presentation to the last sip. Food was excellent, and very good portion sized for the prize. So many things on the menu looked good, we will definitely be back so we can try them all!

We were immediately greeted a sat down. The hostess was very talkative and helpful, music was amazing. Food came out and we fell in love with the artichoke hearts and Cesar salad. Then our main meal we split, my husband had the shrimp and I had the ravioli. Overall, the atmosphere was amazing, food was good and service was great. We will be coming back and are planning on bringing whomever we can.
Sadly most of the food pictures were taken after we started eating, but still presented beautifully.

We were a group of six that had planned to enjoy an evening of good food and comedy. The comedy show had been planned out and paid for over a month prior to our arrival on a Thursday night. When the first couple in our group arrived, they found out there was no comedy event happening. Common courtesy would be for a venue to reach out to their patrons and let them know that an event had been cancelled. Some of us drove 30 minutes on a Thursday night to watch the show. That being said, we all decided to stay for dinner. When approaching from the outside, The Cedars looks like a nursing home. I did find out that at one time it was a golf course/country club. Upon entering the restaurant, you realize that you can’t judge a book by its cover. The interior was quite pleasant. We were greeted by a young lady with a kind smile who showed us where are group was seated. The service, overall was good. Two of the six of us in the group had the Ciabatta Brisket sandwich. We were both of the same opinion, this was not brisket at all. The meat was more akin to a roast cooked in a crock pot with no seasoning added. The meat did not melt in your mouth as brisket should. It was flavorless, dry and very tough to chew. It was definitely a disappointment. The kettle chips that came with the dish were not crispy at all! It was mixed review at our table for sure. Two others thought their food was ok. And the final two loved their meals. In summary, it was an ok experience. We will try again in the future. Just a side note: If an event gets cancelled at your establishment, it would be nice to know before hand.

First timer at the Cedars Public House and for me, probably a last timer.
Coming from Vancouver, finding the CPH was a challenge made easy using my NAV. Tucked away in a neighborhood south of Battleground, the CPH was a clubhouse located on the former Cedars Golf Course. Now a restaurant, event venue , the Cedars Public House is a work in progress. The interior of the Cedars Public House looked decent and inviting The building and grounds however, looked a bit worn and in need of some massive TLC. Plants unwatered , lawns unmowed and outdoor decking in need of paint and board refreshing/replacement were just a few things we noticed . Not a deal breaker but definitely a bit sore on the eyes while sitting on the deck.
The service was great and the highpoint–attentive and available , we lacked for nothing regarding service .Our dinners were brought quickly and ready smiles were a big positive.
The food in my opinion was just OK. While my dining companion enjoyed her ( no wedge ) wedge salad, the shrimp was a bit tasteless. My pulled pork sandwich was dry and again, lacked any sort of noteworthy flavor. The tater tots we decent though.
Final take——A hit and run and call it done. Next…………

Food was ok nothing to make me want to go back the menu is limited and mostly sandwiches with a couple pasta options mehhhh kinda lack luster if you ask me. No steak options which was disappointing
The atmosphere is nice its most older crowd like 50s plus. They had live music which is a plus. The brisket sandwich was shredded instead of slices so you would pull long strips out which was disappointing my side was cross cut sweet potatoe fries that tasted like pancakes and syrup The ravioli is rich and a too small of a portion IMO. The strawberry salad comes tossed with a strawberry vinaigrette that was hardly noticeable so ask for a side of vinaigrette if you go that route. The artichoke hearts were good just too dry it needs a sauce or the balsamic glaze at least. The service is good when it decides to come around finally this place has potential but needs to change things.

Please come visit the new space and place in urban Clark county! The space and staff are refined, yet relaxed. Very calming with a touch of elegance usually reserved for city locals.
We tried a few brews – nice selection on tap. They had fresh beer options along with wine (red and white), ciders and mixed drinks as well.
The food menu has options for the whole family. We are anticipating a reasonable hummus plate and what we go was an incredibly varied plate of sliced and diced fresh veggies. The hummus is house made and they added a touch of balsamic vinegar which gave it a fresh bite flavor.
The artichoke plate my husband got I thought was gong to send him into an orgasmic fit it was so good! They had fresh baked artichoke with a warm piled high prosciutto and Parmesan toast to top it off. The sounds were almost embarrassing as he was eating !

Very accommodating! Glad I finally made it in to check out this establishment who has big plans like the wet spa and theatre! For now, they have a nice dining room and a nice event space where live music often plays.
The staff were friendly and accommodating! They even let us order a grilled cheese sandwich and added chips, which is being added to a kid’s menu. They definitely need a small kid’s menu including that as well as things such as pizza, spaghetti, quesadilla, and/or mac n cheese.
My friend said the raspberry lemonade was very delicious and the Arnold Palmer was perfect! Best of all, they have great sustainable straws that don’t dissolve!
As far as food goes, I enjoyed The Screaming Eagle Sandwich and my friend liked the Mezze Plate. We all thoroughly enjoyed the fries though! They were so generous to bring us a side them on the house since their was a bit of lag on one of our orders. Prices were reasonable considering the large portions.
They could also use a brunch option and come to think of it, this would be a perfect place to have a Plant Nite or a Paint Nite! Lovely outdoor shaded patio area. Would be nice if there was something to let kids be entertained so moms could visit and enjoy some of their cocktails!

I recommend grabbing a bite to eat and then popping over to the Salmon-Morgan Creeks Natural Area for a completely lovely afternoon! Definitely looking forwarding to all they aspire to become over the years for our growing community!

This place is the tops. I’m still here, I came to happy hour with my folks and I’m so impressed with my experience that I wanted to review it right away. The dining room is beautiful, the service is great, and the food is amaaaaazing. I had the butterfly shrimp and broccoli cheddar soup. My dad got the grilled cheese and my mom had the brisket sandwich. I’d order any of them again. The drinks we got are also fantastic. Great portions, and beautiful presentation at a reasonable price. The Cedars might be my new favorite spot in the area- looking forward to trying the rest of the menu ❤️

We love The Cedars! A fun vibe tucked in a quiet area. There just isn’t anything else like it! We’ve been for trivia night a couple of times (such a fun community experience!), and also for live music (perfect to enjoy or as ambiance). Great food and drinks. Definitely recommend!
