This is a picture of a slice of my chicken bacon chipotle ranch quesadilla. Notice, an entire wedge has no chicken. I asked them to remake it or refund it. They had to contact the manager, Erica, offsite. She told them not remake it. In order to do anything, they had to contact the owner. Even though the young lady that made the quesadilla sloppily, she had to get it approved to remake it. They would not do anything about it. It’s as if they have to contact the owner to help a customer. I’ve never seen such poor customer service anywhere. Also, I previously called the restaurant before the food was made to ask them not to put cilantro on my husband’s salad, as I noticed that it contained cilantro. They stated that they would do that, but when it arrived home, it had cilantro on it. I brought it all the way back to the restaurant, and again at Erica’s guidance, they could not remake because the receipt said otherwise. They will hold you to your receipt, no matter if you talk to them. The young lady even admitted that they were notified to leave off the cilantro, but accidentally it was on there, but seems Erica is all about receipts not helping. I think that’s pretty sad that you can have a one on one interaction and trust that it would be done. If the company cared for the community, they would start with the customer. Help your customers enjoy your restaurant. I’ve always learned about the “Can Do” attitude and spirit. This place doesn’t embody that, it’s what they can’t do!! I don’t recommend this place. I really hope they will do better. This was my first time experiencing this, and sadly, it might be my last.

Great service. Hardworking family owned. Not your cookie cutter chain Mexican restaurant. The food is more authentic. Hidden treasure. We ordered breakfast. Large portions and very reasonable prices. Salsa for the salsa and chips way better than Los Arcos.

Super disappointed ordered steak salad and the steak is like pork. Ground pork? I also asked for dressing on the side and they put it all over the salad. I couldn’t even eat 1 bite. I asked for a refund as I am totally grossed out and owner says NO REFUNDS only will remake food. Don’t waste your money here!!

I had a great experience dining in my first time at Barberitos. I had a burrito, and my accomplice had the nachos. I couldn’t tell you which was better. Both of them had generous fillings/toppings, the restaurant was clean, and Bella behind the bar was a delight! I’m looking forward to coming back and trying the quesadillas soon. Barberitos is a great addition to Wetumpka.

I finally tried Barberitos and was both pleased and disappointed. The food, itself, was fresh and delicious, but the disappointment is in the quality. I received the complimentary bag of chips, but I did not receive any salsa. I ordered a salad and the dressing was placed directly on the top. Since the shop is 30 minutes from from my home, it was soggy by the time I arrived home. I should have been asked about putting the liquids on the side. Also, my salad was mostly romaine ribs rather than romaine leaves. The chicken burrito that was also ordered had the queso on the side (yes, I was asked), so it was not soggy and was delicious. I will give them one more try to see if quality and consistency is better.
