The new mango mochi is so good that I came back two days in a row just for it. It’s made in-house, and the owner shared that it took a long time to perfect the recipe, which really shows. Right now it’s only available on weekends, so it feels like a special treat. The texture is soft and chewy with fresh sweet mango and light whipped cream that doesn’t feel too heavy.

The coffee is consistently delicious, and I’ve also tried the Belgian waffle before, which was just as good. This is definitely a place I keep coming back to.

I recently tried a Vietnamese coffee flight at Cafe La Vies and it was a pretty good experience! Each brew offered a unique flavor profile, but all were rich, bold, and very strong. The smooth, slightly sweet notes complemented the robust coffee perfectly. The variety allowed me to explore different brewed flavors. Ideal for coffee lovers.

Service – 5/5
The staff were very friendly and took the time to explain the different drinks for us.

Atmosphere – 4/5
Only 4 because WiFi was down but I had plenty of reception for AT&T so it wasn’t a problem. There was music playing in the background but it was not loud so you could have a regular conversation without talking loud.

Food/drinks – 5/5
We only orders drinks and we had 2 different types of Vietnamese Coffees.

Vietnamese Egg Coffee was delicious. Right amount of sweetness and the “egg” did not overpower the Vietnamese Coffee

Vietnamese Sea Salt was also delicious.

This was our first time here because we were charging our vehicle. It was a perfect spot to charge and glad that there was this cafe to have some coffee before our drive back home.

This is my favorite place to grab Vietnamese coffee around Sac. I like to add tiramisu foam on top to add a little bit of sweetness. Their fruit teas are also very good.

Literally the best Vietnamese coffee in all of Elk Grove, one sip and you can feel the coffee running through your veins giving you energy for your day. The spam masubi is bomb also. All the drinks are so delicious, staff is so kind immaculate vibes

Their Vietnamese coffee has been my go-to for quite some time now. The flavor is rich and honestly top notch. I didn’t mind paying the $8.50 for large because it would be a good size to save for the next day. HOWEVER, within the last 2 weeks of going, they changed their large cup. Last visit on 1/17/26, it was still the tapered, blank cup. Visited 2/1/26 the “large” is noticeably smaller but it’s still the SAME price. Looks like it may be intentional since the new cup size has the logo branded on it. Can’t justify paying $8.50+tax for coffee anymore.

I visited specifically to try your new summer Banana Matcha Special after seeing it advertised on your social media. The drink looked amazing and was the reason I made the trip—but what I received was completely different from what was promoted.

There was no banana in the drink, and it looked nothing like the one in your posts. When I asked the employee at the counter, I was told that you had run out of bananas. That should have been communicated before I placed my order. If I had known, I would have chosen something else.

To make matters worse, the staff member I interacted with was not friendly or approachable, and I felt rushed when ordering. This was not the experience I expected after seeing your promotion, and honestly, it felt misleading.

If you’re going to advertise a featured drink, customers should either receive what’s shown or be clearly informed if substitutions are being made. I hope you take this feedback seriously—because this kind of poor communication and service leaves a bad impression.

Met my friend at this place for a drink and something to nibble on, but mostly catching up. This was a happening place as all the tables and sofas were taken by the time we left around 2:30pm.

I really wanted to try their Vietnamese coffee, but I made the smart choice not to as a strong coffee would affect me… badly. Hence, I decided to just get a regular cafe latte. It was pretty warm inside so an iced latte was ordered. Good, the ice would dilute my drink even more. Lol. My friend and I shared the snacks: croissant, mochi waffle, and churro donuts. I liked the mochi waffle, but it was not very special. Also, it was pretty small. The plain croissant was adequate and the churro donut was average. Although I didn’t try the Vietnamese coffee, based on what I had, the drinks were better than the food items. 3.5 stars overall, but I bumped it up to 4 since my cafe latte was pretty good. I imagine the Vietnamese coffee (their signature and recommended item) could only be better.
