Great pizzas and absolutely amazing garlic knots. It’s a simple place but 100% values for money. We just pick up food and sit by the water. A nice quiet evening to unwind without breaking the bank.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I ordered 2 chicken parm dinners and it was the worst food I’ve ever had!! Absolutely no taste, hard dried out chicken, super bland noodles, burnt garlic bread. It was horrible!! I have been a fan of Mario’s in Elizabeth for many many years and I expected the 1 in Perth Amboy to be of the same quality but I was wrong! I don’t even know how they are in business serving disgusting food like this. Wish I would have read the reviews first.

I used to LOVE to order from here. The last two times I’ve ordered the food was a DISASTER!! First the delivery guy dropped the pizza & this time (literally just had it delivered) and it’s 8 slices when I SPECIFICALLY TOLD THE LADY ON THE PHONE DOUBLE SLICES. She could barely speak or understand English & had to yell at someone in the back to translate what I asked for. This will be the LAST time I order from here & will be sure to tell my family as well.

I ordered large pie, wings and and a chicken parm dinner after waiting 40 min.. I thought it must be worth the wait.. (it wasn’t at all). Nothing was fresh everything seemed like it was from yesterdays leftovers and they just microwaved it.. I mean my pie wasnt even made fresh they just took a pie sitting there I dunno for how long and gave it to me.. No authentic sause or cheese taste was very bland. Place looks nice and clean, but food is not even decent.

Pizza wasn’t good. Wings were the worst. Rock shrimp with garlic wasn’t good either. Food took forever and was cold on arrival. Wish I could give them a no star review. Stay away from this place, u have been warned. I’d rather have ordered dominoes

Never ordering from here again, ordered a grilled chicken salad, which the person who took my order said it was not on their menu.. (which it is) I then asked what comes in it, and the response I got was just lettuce & the chicken..? I responded asking, that’s it? Nothing else comes with it. With that she said she’ll ask the cook, returns to the phone to tell me it comes with onion, olives & fetta cheese.
I receive my delivery with lettuce, the smallest pieces of chicken & croutons.

Horrible customer service! I ordered from Marios quite frequently in the past. I lived several blocks away so it was convenient to order but picking up since delivery would always take longer than their estimated timeframe and they were always full of excuses as to why. My most recent experience, which will also be my last because I will never order from them again…..I ordered my usual spinach calzone, Large pie and Chicken club wrap for pick up. After placing me on hold for about two minutes, I was told my order total would be $27 and some change. I sent my niece to pick up the food an hour later. When my niece returned home she told me they charged her $34.35. I immediately called them and this very rude woman with a poor attitude told me the lady who took my order is new and didn’t know their menu prices were wrong. I told her that’s false advertisement as they should be honoring current menu prices. I informed her I was going to give them a bad review to which she replied to go ahead. Several minutes later, I received a call from the pizzeria. This time a nice woman who apologized for the confusion but used same argument that their prices increased but they hadn’t received their new menus yet. I also informed her they should continue to honor their current menu prices instead of charging customers more. I shouldn’t be told one price over the phone which matches menu prices and then be charged a higher price when I pick up. She did not offer to make up for the mistake or inconvenience. I asked for a refund of the difference but she stated she wouldn’t. What happened to the days of good customer service?!?! They lost a customer forever!!!!!!!

Updetae: I thought I’d give this place one last shot. The pizza is not at all what it used to be. This last order reminded me a lot of the 7/11 $5 pizza.

Veggie pizza was ordered, didn’t really like how the pizza on the menu aid it had certain items on it and the end result was that those ingredients were not on it. I would like to be advised of what veggies they didnt have. Besides that it was fine.
