Pooches has some really good food and drinks. Beware that specials are mentioned but prices are more than meals on menu, shocked. Quality of food was great though and staff were friendly, attentive, and quick. We would definitely go back again.

I’ve enjoyed eating at pooches every summer for the last 11 years. It never disappoints. The smoked porkchop is top notch as well as the steaks. Better than most steakhouses I’ve been too. Great waitstaff as well. Highly recommended.

Absolutely not what you’d expect of bar and grill food. Instead it is so much better. The distinct lack of grease on food alone makes it stand apart. The choices are good, the tastes are on point and the staff not only know what they are doing but are pleasant even when rushed. Would definitely recommended it to anyone and well with the drive from out of town.

Pouches has a friendly Staff. They have Great Service and Great Food. Their located just a couple blocks South of Hwy 36 in Smith Center Kansas. They have a friendly environment and I have always found it to be clean inside including the restrooms. Pouches is well worth the visit whether you live there or just visiting or passing thru. I know I’ll be back.

We are traveling to Coloradoand stopped in Smith Center for the night and asked a police officer where a good place to eat and recommended this place, glad we took his suggestion. They have homemade yeast rolls and real butter with honey, and what we ordered was very good. We had a very sweet waitress named Becca. She was a pleasure to have as are server. If we come back this way on our way home we’ll stop again. Thank you Becca.
