They often had good bands come to play there as well — Sleater/Kinney & Sonic Youth actually both played campus back in my days @ Hampshire. I therefore can say, The Prescott Tavern was a space I GENUINELY enjoyed hanging out in on campus. And IF memory serves, as long as you were 21 & over (being properly ID’d of course) you could purchase Beer & Wine.
