Authentic French cafe with outstanding food, service, and vibes. Quite possibly the best almond croissant I’ve ever had. Great place to get your morning coffee fix.
Don’t sleep on their other food as well, the sandwiches are delicious; made on freshly baked bread. Definitely check out their carefully selected packaged products, great for gifts or to take home for yourself/family.
I’ve been a customer for a few years now and they continue to impress, much deserved review. HIGHLY recommended!
They have cakes sandwiches croissants and chocolate ones too.
They also sell cookies in a bag.
Their coffee was very good.
I had a criossant au chocolate and a capuccino.
Delicious.
They have a small outside covered patio with a long table for about 10 people and an extra table for 4 people.
This patio is covered but if it rains you may want to stay inside . Because you will get wet.
Small but their is space if you go with a wheelchair.
They even have a bar where you can look out the window.
Their chairs are high.
They speak french and english
It is family owned and very friendly people.
We ordered a variety of items: raspberry almond croissant, almond chocolate croissant, pain au chocolat, ham-cheese-egg pastry, plus coffees. Every single item was grossly overpriced for the quality delivered.
The croissants show mediocre lamination at best—heavy, greasy, and unpleasant from the very first bite. They taste and feel like they’ve been sitting since the day before. The texture is chewy and oily rather than flaky and light, which is unacceptable at these prices. The raspberry almond croissant was especially insulting: barely any filling, just the thinnest smear of marmalade, almost nonexistent.
For the prices they charge, you’d expect at least proper pastry warming. Instead, there’s no warming offered at all—just a microwave available for customers to use. So after paying premium prices, the only option is to microwave your pastry and end up with a hot, stale piece of bread and completely destroyed texture.
The coffee was bland and forgettable—nothing special, nothing memorable, certainly not worth the price.
While everything behind the counter looks decent, the reality is that the pastries taste like supermarket croissants reheated and dusted with powdered sugar to disguise the lack of quality. Honestly, croissants from Walmart or Costco have better texture, flavor, and consistency than what’s being sold here.
To make matters worse, the flour bags displayed up front are low-quality, bleached, bromated options—cheap and unhealthy. That alone says a lot about the priorities of this place.
The only genuinely decent thing about this experience was the customer service—the staff was polite and kind—but unfortunately, good service can’t make up for poor product quality and inflated prices.
Overall, this place relies heavily on presentation rather than substance. For a bakery positioning itself as high-quality, the execution falls far short. Definitely not worth the drive, the hype, or the money.
The croissants looked so appealing. Next time I will have a pistachio croissant.
This will surely become one of my local favorites!
Located between NE 5th and NE 6th ave just south of where the two roads become federal highway and accessible from both roads.
