Spent the summer in David City for an internship and came here for lunch most days. The staff was friendly and always did a great job making my sandwich, even when the place was busy which it often was. After a while one of the employees (I think her name was Kelsey) actually memorized my order which was super impressive, and on my last time stopping in before my internship ended the manager Tina gave me my sandwich free of charge and wished me luck on going back to school. Nothing but positive things to say about this place, would give it more stars if I could.

Was surprised that a 6″ sandwich cost me $6.76. I guess that is the way it is in this economy. The lady that got the sandwich started was very cheerful and fast with getting the bread, meat, cheese started. Then the line backed up, so she had to start putting the requested veggies & condiments on to get the line caught up. The cashier was polite.

So I came in with a giant order and the two working did a great job on following all the crazy little directions and different crazy amounts of toppings. I tried ordering it all online so I could just go in and pick up but the option wasn’t allowed, for that reason I am giving a 4 star rating. Also, when I went to order a pizza I was told they don’t serve those. I’m just going to assume it has something to do with the small town. If you want the seafood sandwich be prepared to only eat it during lent months. I’m upset its not around all year but again, I’m going to assume its a small town. The place was clean and staff was beyond nice and helpful. Would go back even without my favorited items.
