03/16/2023 – Order General Tsos Dinner – Very small portions, $3 extra dollars to just add lo menu noodles, half way through eating this order, an unknown bug was found in the middle of the lo mein noodles (picture attached) — Ordered Pineapple Chicken Dinner – the pineapple chicken tasted like it had no flavor at all and was very watery. The pineapples tasted like they were straight from a can and the vegetables tasted like they were frozen. Large portion of fried rice but they did not have flavor either — definitely would not go back, we will stick with China House in Green off of S. Main St….

I’m not sure why this place has such a low rating. It’s very good food, clean and thoughtfully prepared. The sauces aren’t laden with sodium, and the dishes are definitely on the healthier side. The ingredients are very fresh. They don’t offer dine-in, and our wait for carry out for 3 is just under 20 minutes. Polite service and generous with the mustard packets!

Awful quality food. They put canned corn and canned chicken in the egg foo young and they also use canned chicken in the chicken rice soup. All of the vegetables were from a frozen bag. I could tell by it tasting freezer burnt. So gross. I ordered $40 worth of food for My uncle, wife, and me and we took 2 bites and had to throw it all away and get food from elsewhere else. You shouldn’t have to do that after spending $40 for 3 meals. I recommend anyone reading this to stay away from this place. I don’t like giving anyone a bad review but this place deserves a bad review.

I just love Ming Garden. The food is always hot and delicious when I pick it up. One of my favorites is the Cashew Chicken platter and it is always the same – delicious. I just got it tonight for dinner and there is always plenty of food. I have enough for another meal tomorrow. The restaurant is always very clean and the staff very friendly and respectful.I would highly recommend giving it a try❤️

The quality of food at Ming Garden is very good and the prices are very reasonable compared to other similar restaurants. One of my favorite soups from here is the hot & sour soup. It is spicy but it tastes very good and is made fresh. The dining area is very plain but the seating is comfy for dining in. Most people order take-out/ carry-out at Ming Garden based on my experience. The food can be ordered without MSG (Monosodium glutamate) for those with diet restrictions and they can also make food as spicy or mild as you like. I recommend ordering their jalapenos cooked into a dish for those that like a very spicy meal. The portions are good and I usually have leftovers whether I order take-out or in the restaurant. Their pork dumplings are very good fried.

Was very good for a while but seems to be going downhill over last few months .. change of staff leaves much to he desired. Portions are ok, but quality of fare is adequate at best. Egg rolls went from good sized to half that and then got even smaller recently … seemingly ‘frozen & out of the box’ now and only about the size of my thumb. Literally.
Obviously quality is being sacrificed to increase margins. Overall not worthwhile.

Been coming to this place since I can remember, I always order the chicken and broccoli combination. The taste is good and always consistent so I never have a reason to try anything else, but I’ve heard good things about their other dishes. Sometimes the broth of the wonton soup is a little bland, but you can add some soy sauce to compensate. They’re usually not too busy so waiting to dine in or carry out usually isn’t that long. Prices are average as far as Chinese food goes and portions are alright. It’s the best Chinese place in Norton, but then again, it’s the only one.

We’ve been eating at Ming Garden once a week for about 5 year’s.
Usually very good. Jan 12 when we had a bad freezing rain ice and snow storm, We ordered our usual $22+ it was so bad out I was the okly person there. When I got home, our food was horrible! Dried out and tasted old. I called Ming Garden and when I explained, I was accused of wanting free food and very disrespected.
I only called to let them know how bad it was, I was polite and never mentioned or asked for anything free.
I WON’T GO BACK
BAD BUSINESS !!!!

Been coming here for years and has gotten better! Delicious food here and at reasonable prices! Definitely recommend coming here. Honestly this is unbiased, but I would say this is the best Chinese resturaunt in the Norton and Barberton area, so it is very convenient. I recommend the egg foo young( best around town) and the chicken with broccoli. The noodles with sweet and sour are delicious!
