The best homestyle Mexican food! I used to eat here often back in the day, maybe a little over 10 years ago, ever since my Mexican friend brought me to this place. I came back here for the first time in 10 years and I’m so happy that the taste is still the same! I was craving their food and I finally managed to stop by for lunch. I have yet to find a Mexican restaurant that has better Mexican rice than here. Their food is light and easy on my stomach. Although they don’t have crazy seasonings, I really, really love the taste. The sodium level is perfect for my taste buds (I don’t like salty food). The waitress is very nice too. I definitely will try to come back here to eat other dishes.

Always great food at great prices. Can be a busy lunch spot but generally can find a table for 4 or less. It’s an old building though so it’s drafty and runs cold, wear an extra later and maybe get an extra drink to warm up and enjoy

I ordered #44 with steak it was really tasty and the rice is very good. I am very picky and had all these special orders but they made my order perfectly with extra sides! Number 14 is one of my favorites as well. Good luck with your business, we appreciate you

Have you ever wondered what it’s like to get a taste of Mexico without leaving your home town?

Ponder your thoughts no more friends. This place not only changed my life, but nourished my soul. The charisma from the staff and the great weather made me forget about the hustle and bustle of everyday life and encouraged me to long for simpler times.

The sizzling sound of the fajitas was loud enough to wake up a younger you. Spend all your money here.

Truly a slice of home.

This restaurant is a family owned and ran restaurant, that serves with respect and diligence!!

I found they do not have sweet tea, however their hot tea with some sugar packs was spectacular!!

Brilliantly, they served an entire plate of guacamole for the chips and guac appetizer.

You will see in the picture attached, I could not restrain myself as I cleaned the plate before I took the picture…..

I can say, if you are from New Mexico as I am, and expect a punch of spicy in your Chile, you will be disappointed.

That being said, it is no tomato sauce, you hear!?
It gave my New Mexican tastebuds, an amusing sizzle.

Worth the stop, absolutely!

I just ordered the shrimp and chicken, no shrimp were in the toca’s and there were just some melted cheese n nasty shreads of chicken, even the rice was nasty tasting, makes no sense .

This place is next to my work place and it’s a perfect place for lunch in the middle of work. Service is fast and food is excellent. Tastes like real Tex-Mex food. I’ve eaten here more times than I can count and I always order the same thing, Fajitas Quesadillas. They come with very tasty side of rice (best Mex rice I’ve had in Delaware), beans, guacamole (tastes fresh) and sour cream. Their two salsas which they give along with chips are also great. Also, the rates of the items are reasonable.

Me and mother went for the taco salad bowl, very flavorful, colorful and the edible bowl was cooked to light crunch perfection

Have been ordering to go from here for YEARS because they have a solid consistently tasty fajita chimichanga. But today unfortunately, I made the mistake of dinning in! Smh

95% of the time I’ve picked up food, the restaurant has been empty. And now I see why. The tables were wobbly, the seats were uncomfortable, my utensils were dirty and my cup had a chip on the top to match the one on my waitresses shoulder!

If this all weren’t bad enough, I was also repeatedly overcharged without any prior notice! It seems the owner arbitrarily decides to raise the prices on items WITHOUT updating the menu or requiring the wait staff to notify the customers!

If there is a listed price on the menu, that should ALWAYS be honored unless the waiter/waitress notifies the guest otherwise, which did NOT happen here, and there was not even an  apology for the misinformation.

It felt like they were trying to sneak in any way to inflate the bill. They even charged me for salsa that already COMES with the chimichunga when ordering take out!
When I spoke to the waitress, and explained how the Chimichanga togo comes with a side of Guacamole, sour cream, AND the mild salsa she just lied to my face and said that was not the case!

Keep in mind, I’ve ordered take out from here for years, and the only reason I’m giving them 3 stars as opposed to 2, is purely because their chimichangas have been consistently good! Yet after this experience I’ll never again be dining in, and it’ll be a long while, if ever, before I do takeout. They do NOT appreciate their customers!

First of all, the employees I interacted with were very kind. I called to make an order and asked if they had a kids menu (they don’t). The gentleman I spoke with said they can whip up a quesadilla for my kid, and I continued to order something else for lunch. The food was very good and the to-go service was wonderful. Looking forward to eating there again.
