We ate several menu items. Spicy Calamari. Fish and Chips. Fish Tacos (Taco Tuesday). Fries were overdone and inedible. Steak Sandwich. The steak tasted sour. One bite and had to spit it out. Wyld Burger had a lot of spices mixed in. Not kid friendly. Not recommended.

We enjoyed our meal there last Sunday. The veg pizza was delicious in taste and was so big in size (it had 14 slices and was sufficient for 3 people). The veg salad had interesting flavour. Also ordered Mediterranean wrap which we couldn’t finish there so brought that home and it was yummy too!
Pricing was not too high. Ambience was nice. Service was good. Staff was courteous.
The only thing that could have been better that evening was the mosquitoes outside that couldn’t let us enjoy our food comfortably!
Situated within the beautiful surroundings! ️ ️ The waskesiu lake is around 5 minutes drive farther away from this place.
Overall it’s a great place to visit and worth trying!

The wyld is cute place to be any season of the year. I was recently here on a work trip and ate there pretty much daily. The wait staff were very friendly, and The food was delicious. Will definitely be back there soon!

We dined at The Wyld two nights while we were staying at the resort. It’s great to have good dining and entertainment within the complex. The first night we dined, there was an excellent acoustic duo. Between the two days, we tried the elk burger, steak sandwich, blanco pizza and local walleye. The elk burger was our fav! It’s so tender and savory. You can’t go wrong with the pizzas, too. The Blanco Pizza was a home run. We also tried the quinoa and greens salad which is a delicious accompaniment to the meal. For drinks, we tried a few of the local IPAs and shared a few bottles of Joel Gott Zinfandel 2019. They have a great selection available. Our server both nights was Jen and she was the best. She even asked me my name which rarely happens when I dine. She made many suggestions for food and drink when I asked and was very attentive on service even Kern it being very busy. We return in two weeks and I can’t wait to try more dishes!

The atmosphere is laid back yet lively and is great for a casual meal during your getaway. The service is excellent and the staff are friendly. The wait times could be improved a bit, but it was certainly not too bad.
Between the two of us, we ordered the fish and chips, elk burger, and poutine. The fish and chips and burger were quite good and seemed fresh. However, we swapped the poutine for regular fries with gravy once we saw that they were using shredded marble cheese instead of cheese curds. I was a bit surprised that an eatery at a resort of this caliber would make such a substitution, especially considering that the resort seemed to be detail oriented in other areas. To the restaurant management: please consider fixing this; as a resort offering an authentic Canadian experience, you should really respect this staple of Canadian cuisine.

Don’t be fooled by the look of the restaurant and the higher priced food items you will be disappointed in your meal at that price point. Extremely overpriced menu for the type and quality of food. Don’t order the waygu burger you will be disappointed. Spaghetti noodles tossed in pesto sauce for $20 is absolutely insane. The restaurant and vibe is really beautiful. The servers are nice but it is basically a fancy Boston pizza.

food can be hit-or-miss. their battered fish was ok at one time, steak sandwich however was not (and weird looking). elk burger was dry. definitely over priced.

The staff was very welcoming. I really appreciated their extra kindness to my nephew and niece who were visiting. Very good vibe. The elk burger and BBQ chicken pizza is delicious.
