At the Red Top Tavern, we have been serving beer, wine since 1935, in 2016 the bar changed hands to the new owners Greg & Ambrose. They made some much needed improvements including the addition of serving cocktails and a full food menu. The Red Top Tavern located in Darrington, WA – a town that is overlooked by White Horse Mountain and is famous for logging. Darrington is located between Sauk & Stillaguamish rivers, East of Arlington and two blocks up from HWY 530 and Mountain Loop HWY. This a friendly home town bar where horseshoes fly in the beer garden with laughter & cheers throughout the bar. There is A/C, pool table, darts, karaoke, pool tabs and good food. It has always been a great destination ride for bikers, hikers, campers, etc.

Rad little bar with a freaking spectacular veiw of the mountains!! Service was great, it was historic and very small town in a good way. Good things come out of such a small kitchen!! I had a chili cheese dog with onions that did not disappoint, my fiancé had the hamburger add bacon that was exactly what he wanted. Worth the beautiful drive.

Awesome little dive bar that’s been around for 90 years. The service was above and beyond, 50¢ pool games, pull tabs and the food was incredible. Fresh veggies on the burger and super crispy tots. The hot dog was only $5.50 and it was worth every penny. This is a spot we will hit every time we come out this way!

You can see why this place was featured in Northwest magazines five star dive bars. You can tell all the bartenders and patrons love being there It feels more like a second home than a bar. If you’re from out of town most people welcome you with open arms. don’t be alarmed if you get a cranky old-timer. They’re usually on their best behavior but on the off chance they aren’t don’t take it personally they’ve lived here their entire lives. Best spot in town to watch the football games during the winter, and best place to get a cold drink and enjoy some sunshine and a beautiful view of white horse mountain while either playing or spectating a game of horseshoes out back in the beer garden. If you’re passing through definitely make a point to stop in and check it out. You won’t be disappointed

After a long day of driving just wanted a cold drink and some food with our dog. I always look for places with patios and go in ahead of time to make sure the patio is dog friendly. I looked for a no pets allowed sign, didn’t see one, opened the door and before I could get in the old hag with most of her teeth behind the bar started yelling NO NO DOG at the top of her lungs. Totally uncalled for. We drove down to Moes to the nice friendly ladies that welcomed us and our sweet dog. Glad my $75 wasn’t spent in this hell hole.

Service was slow and not very friendly. The beer was poured very poorly and flat. The single person bathrooms are men OnLy and women OnLy. Instead of regulating who goes in a bathroom they should learn how to pour a beer.

If you’re looking for a watering hole in a drinking town with a logging problem lol ya found it. I have been coming to this place 25 years straight now. It’s been threw a few owners over the years but has always kept it’s old school feel and integrity. I highly recommend if your in the area stop by and see for yourself.

Bar tenders (one in particular) are beyond disrespectful highly recommend you don’t spend a dollar of your hard earned money here. I refuse to step foot in this establishment again. If you’d like good place with nice respectful service I recommend river time brewing across the street
