This Port of Subs was awesome! The bread is soft, the bacon is really good, and the employees were super nice! The employee who served us participated in small talk and was patient while I took a while to order. Definitely will be coming back again!

So this just happened. Ordered online, thankfully got there to see them make my tuna sandwich. It looked like there was no tuna on it. I asked the lady about it and they said they were out of tuna. Instead of offering me a substitution they decided they were going to finish the piece of bread with tuna flavored water and condiments. Then wanted to order a macaroni salad because i didnt think it was going to be enough, guess what, they didnt have any. Didn’t think much until I got home and realized there was nothing. Went back and the young lady behind the counter said they put 2 1/2 scoops out of the 3 on my sandwich, which is really weird considering a large tuna comes with 4 scoops. I went back and told them I would like something else, after making my new sandwich, which she had skimped meats on, the young girl then tried to charge me for it. After giving her the first one back. Obviously new staff or something but time to give Port of Subs a rest for a little while.

Best and freshest food around! I work nearby and eat here often. I can honestly say I have never gotten bad food here. Ian is a shear genius when it comes to creating sandwiches and is always there to offer a friendly hello and smile. They even go above and WAY beyond for my boyfriend who has an allergy. I highly recommend the Dayton shop, with so many varieties (sandwiches- hot and cold, salads, wraps) it’s hard to go wrong. And if you’re not sure what to get, ask them for a recommendation! They can make your next favorite!

Went to pick up, and the guy behind the counter ( who looked to be the manager or owner, but I’m not sure) was kind of surly when he asked “Can I help you?”. I said I had ordered online and he asked for my name, I told him and he said “Oh, she’s making it”. The girl that was making the sandwich was nicer, as she was making my sandwich she said I could go ahead and grab my chips from the rack, and told me to have a nice day when I left.
The sandwich itself was good, probably better than subway, like the ingredients were better quality, but nothing spectacular.
Overall service was less than average and product was only slightly above average.

Went over this there with family. First time being there. The guy making my sandwich was patient because I wasn’t sure what to order. Forgot his name.
When I got home and ate the sandwich I expected it to be okay. I was really impressed with how tasty it was.
In my opinion, everything tasted fresh and just tasty down to the bread, mayo, lettuce, meat, and pickles. I was impressed with the quality of the food and ingredients. Exceeded my expectations. Had a yummy dinner.

just had the most horrific experience, I wont go into detail but I walked out with out even getting my food due to a nasty staff member, older lady, yelling at my granddaughter because she couldn’t hear the clerk, the clerk had to repeat herself a few times because she was talking quietly so then she decided to yell, and when she realized that she had the entire room looking at her a passive aggressive smile came on her face. It was horrible experience, my granddaughter left sobbing. I get back to work and am telling some co workers about it and each one knew exactly who it was as they had had the same sort of experience with her. So I can give no stars for food as we had to leave my granddaughter was sobbing, atmosphere will be a 0 stars because of the old lady there, the other employees would get a 100%, and service -0 because of the cranky old lady. My advice to the cranky older lady, you have no idea what’s going on in someone’s life of what has gone on, you have no idea if its a social issue, or anything really, not that you have to know its really none of your business but try and be gracious and kind, speak up kindly, after all your just making sandwiches at your age so your not really in a position to judge..
