We have been patrons here several times each year for the past couple years by ordering both dine-in and take out. The first time we went, the service and quality were good. Each subsequent visit has been progressively worse. This last time I ordered two spicy tuna rolls and one spicy salmon roll. Each roll was mostly filled with tempura crunch to the point where it overwhelmed the little amount of fish they put in each of them and hardly any sauce, if any. It was dry to the point of needing to ask for some sort of sauce or tea to wash it down. I couldn’t get one refill on my beverage after asking multiple times. When I asked the manager about the amount of crunch in the roll and the lack of spiciness, she reluctantly looked up from her phone she was busy with she said, “Sorry. maybe we’re busy tonight.” and that was that. Extremely disappointing dinner. $51 is not a fair price for dry rolls made with rice, tempura, and a tiny bit of fish plus a below average steak hibachi platter and no beverage refills. Thankfully we had a discount to bring it down to $36, but it wasn’t worth that, either.

The sushi was terrible. The seaweed turned to gum in our mouths. The flavor was fine but the sushi was just a bad texture through out. The hibachi menu seems to be the best thing to get but almost everything has an off taste. The service was terrible. We got everything fast but after that the servers seemed to avoid us. It’s NOT worth the price.

Our first visit but not our last. Cherry Sushi & Grill was great, the staff were friendly and polite. It is clean and nicely decorated and our entres attractively served. I was going to use soy sauce but none was needed, the food was delicious as well.

Sushi was flavorless. Everything tastes the same. Fish was greasy and warm. Like the other reviewer said go to Harris Teeter, the sushi is cheaper and tastes much better. Was excited this place was coming, but won’t be back. Waste of $40.

Good sushi (not great sushi), but definitely worth the money. I absolutely like their “all you can eat” offer they have going on currently.
Friendly and fast service. I had ordered 6 rolls and got them within 10 – 15 minutes, even though the restaurant was about half full.

We have eaten here on several occasions and the food is all on point. Service is decent and the store is always clean. We drive out of our way to visit because the sushi is always solid and the hibachi is cooked perfectly. They get an A in my book.

Wish we had noticed the Food Grade Rating of C when we entered the restaurant and didn’t overlook that the place was pretty empty. Why did we ignore the signs??? We should have turned right back around and saved ourselves from this horrible experience. Service, or lack there of, was extremely poor. The food had absolutely no type of flavor, with the exception of the miso soup where one spoon full will probably land you at the doctor’s office with high cholesterol. I ordered a spicy tuna roll as part of my Bento Box of Horrors, and it was more like a spicy tuna fish roll. The only thing that was decent was the sake, and I assume it’s because they didn’t actually make it themselves. For the price, the food should have been 100% better than it was. Do yourself a favor, skip this place.

We took this food home to go last night. Let’s just say it’s coming out both ends right now and horrible stomach cramps. I couldn’t even finish my food I had to throw it away last night it was that bad. Worst Chinese food I’ve ever tasted. My friend opened up her Salmon and it was so fishy smelled horrible she threw it away. My brother is fighting throwing up all night as well. I will never eat here again worst 85 $ I ever spent. Yes i am writing this on the toilet. So I can worn all. When in doubt throw it out!!!!!!
