Best dosas I ever had in USA… Simply delicious..I highly recommend this place if you are in west haven. And also tried the ghee roast chicken biryani here and honestly, it was so good. The ghee flavor really stands out without being overpowering, and the chicken was soft, juicy, and full of flavor. The rice was cooked perfectly and everything came together really well. One of those dishes you keep thinking about after the meal. Will definitely order this again.

While heading to Boston, I stopped in Connecticut to meet up with some friends, and we decided to try Vintage Kitchen. Before going, we checked the reviews and noticed that some of them weren’t very positive. Still, we wanted to give it a try — and I’m so glad we did!

We ordered dosa, biryani, and a few appetizers, and everything was absolutely delicious. The flavors were authentic, well-balanced, and truly satisfying. The dosa was perfectly crisp, the biryani was rich and flavorful, and the appetizers were a great start to the meal.

Overall, the food exceeded our expectations. I would honestly rate it 10/10. Don’t let a few negative reviews stop you — go try the food yourself and enjoy the experience!

Recently tried Vintage Unlimited Thali. Everything was perfect. The spice level was well balanced. The quality and quantity were really good for the price. The biryani was flavorful and aromatic. The curries were rich and well cooked, especially the egg curry. The fried chicken pieces were crispy and delicious. The portions were generous and very filling. Highly recommended !

Also, their mutton mandi is the best. The mutton is soft, juicy, and full of flavor. Highly recommended !

I really loved the food! It smelled amazing, and the taste was superb. Even I couldn’t wait even for 2nd spoon , it was that good. I’m genuinely saying this because it truly satisfied my cravings and left my tummy full and happy. This is actually my 5th time ordering the same item the baby corn fried rice and it has been my best experience every single time.

I would like to extend my sincere appreciation to the Vintage Kitchen team and management for introducing the delightful experience of Mandi to Connecticut. As the only restaurant offering this dish twice a week, it’s truly a unique culinary treat.

I recently had the pleasure of enjoying their juicy mutton Mandi, and I must say, it was absolutely phenomenal. The Indo-Arabic Mandi is bursting with rich flavors, from the aromatic saffron and dry fruits to the crispy fried onions. The combination of fresh carrots, cucumber, onion salad, and the mango mayonnaise elevates the dish even further. Everything was perfectly balanced and truly exceptional.

If you find yourself in Connecticut, I highly recommend visiting Vintage Kitchen on Tuesdays and Fridays to savor their Mandi. One of the standout features of their service is how the staff personally approaches each table to gather feedback, ensuring a top-notch dining experience.

It’s clear that they take pride in both their food and customer satisfaction.

I was craving Indian food today, and my roommate had a friend coming up from CT so I asked her to bring takeout from Vintage Kitchen. We ordered the Hyderabad dum chicken biryani, paneer biryani, and while I originally wanted to order the goat biryani, the staff recommended I try the Talapakattu biryani.

Wow. I was blown away by not only the quantity of food, but also the authenticity of all the dishes, according to my Telugu friend. The Talapakattu biryani was incredibly flavorful with salty and buttery taste profiles, and the goat was tender. The paneer biryani was packed with spice, and its creaminess and hint of sweetness balanced out the biryani rice. Lastly, the chicken biryani was delicious, with tender chicken falling off the chicken bone.

This restaurant truly exceeded my expectations and satisfied my cravings. While I wish this restaurant was in Boston, I can’t wait to go back and try more items on the menu in person!!

I just wanted to say that the food at Vintage Kitchen is absolutely amazing! The taste is authentic and full of flavor. The biryani is especially outstanding — perfectly cooked, rich in spices, and truly delicious.

Not only is the food excellent, but the people are also very genuine, warm, and welcoming. You can really feel the care and quality in everything you serve.

Thank you for such a wonderful dining experience. Keep up the great work!

The panner biryani delivered to me was just white rice mixed with paneer gravy. Tho that gravy tasted so good. If anybody teases vegeterian people saying veg biryani is just pulaav, then the joke may have been originated from here. You could do better next time. Tho not added colors like tomato shade, egg shade was very nice.

All i got was separate panner gravy on top and white rice below.
