Highly recommend coming here! The ambiance, service, and food were all top-notch. I loved the cast-iron cornbread appetizer, as well as the Caesar salad to start. For entrées, my partner and I enjoyed the short rib and skirt steak—both were cooked to perfection and packed with flavor. The balance of flavors was clearly well thought out and really came through in each dish. We didn’t try the mocktails since we took advantage of the BYOB policy, but overall this was a fantastic experience. I highly recommend it and would love to come back again.

We enjoyed our 1st visit to St Clair. Nice to see both the Exec chef and sous chef are women. The corn bread is a must- sweet and salty served in a hot skillet. Ceasar salad was ok- polenta croutons nice touch. Short rib was amazing. NY strip was nicely done- served with a green chile sauce- nice touch. I must call out the bus staff. I dropped my napkin from my lap and a bus person saw and quickly replaced- nice observant service. (it’s BYOB- Amanti Vino wine store right next store- a great place with excellent selections and helpful staff.)!

Came here for a moms night out and it did not disappoint! We had a reservation and were taken to our table right away. Hosts were friendly and welcoming. Our server was amazing and the food was great. My steak was cooked perfectly. Loved the decor as well because, let’s face it, anywhere that recognizes Leo DiCaprio’s Romeo and Juliet knows what the millennials want to see.

Had brunch here for the first time on New Year’s Eve and was not disappointed! Tried the $32 prix fixe lunch (soup or salad plus main entree). Started with the Saint Claire salad with honey vinegrette which has refreshingly good and paired with the Crispy Fish Tacos which was surprisingly quite filling. My wife also had the same salad paired with the Faroe Island Salmon with honeyed carrots over farro which was delish! Ended it with a heavenly tasting honey-crusted apple with vanilla ice cream on top. Saint Clair is BYOB so we brought a bottle of prosecco and they provided a carafe of OJ for our mimosas! Shout out to our server Ashley who helped us with our choices and took great care is us throughout our dining! Highly recommend!

Came to Montclair to try this trendy spot. Made a resy for 2 for lunch without any problems. Ample parking at the Crescent garage a block away. Arrived on time promptly seated Indoor dining room. We started with a few cocktails which were refreshing – Sporty Morty Spagliato and Full Monty Clair Mule. Apps – cast Iron Cornbread and Lump Crab Salads are a must. Duck Fat Tater Tots looked great but could have used a little more flavor for my taste. Delicious nonetheless. Mains – Dry Aged Beef Burger was excellent and Crispy Fish Tacos were also nice. Finished with dessert if Devils Food Cake which was wonderful and not overly sweet. Overall great lunch, not to crowded on a week day. Special props to our server Christina for taking excellent care of us and making sure we had everything we needed and gave us great recommendations on all her favorites. Definitely will come back to try more!

We came here to celebrate my sister’s birthday and had the most wonderful experience! We had a reservation and were seated right away — the process was so easy. The hostess and our waitress were absolutely lovely, and even the manager stopped by mid-meal to make sure we were happy and well taken care of.

The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated with thoughtful details, great lighting, and a warm ambience that made the evening feel special. It’s also BYOB (with a wine shop conveniently right next door), but I have to call out the incredible mocktails too. I had the Caroline Cooler and it was delicious — refreshing and creative.

For food, my sister and I started with the Saint Clair salad, which was outstanding. The grilled figs made it unforgettable. For entrées, I had the roasted chicken and my sister had the salmon — both were beautifully cooked and full of flavor. The menu also featured a lovely array of desserts. We were too full to indulge this time, but we’ll definitely be back to try them (along with the espresso bar, which looked fantastic with so many options and flavors).

Every part of the evening felt intentional and welcoming — from the service to the atmosphere to the food itself. I highly recommend this restaurant and can’t wait to return!

5 stars all around! I really can’t say enough about our positive experience. I don’t often write reviews but I had to. The atmosphere was beautiful, all of the staff was friendly and accommodating. Our server Mary was splendid. We actually to meet chef Leia and she was so charming :).

We started with the cornbread, the tuna crudo and the pork belly. The cornbread was cozy and sweet and salty. The tuna crudo was spectacular!!! Punchy flavor and the combo with grapes is genius. The pork belly was CRISPY yet tender. For entrees we had the burger and pork chop. The burger was luscious and had such great flavor. The pork chop was juicy and the polenta was freaking bomb.

We will surely be back!

This quite possibly has been one of the most delightful meals of my life! From the grown up tater tots to the fauxtinis I can not brag enough about my fantastic meal there.

The chicken was moist yet maintained the crispy skin, the short rib was fall off the bone! And yes get all the desserts on the menu! The opera cake and the apple crisp were amazing

I believe Lea Gascone’s new restaurant is going to be a hit. The decor is really cool and the service was very attentive.
We’ve enjoyed Lea’s South & Pine restaurant in Morristown several times and always enjoyed our meals, so we had to give Saint Claire a try.
My wife had the roast chicken (w/ Schmaltz croutons, Frisee, pine nuts,
golden raisons and sherry jus. The chicken was tender and juicy, something not often found when ordering chicken. The frisee was a tasty and provided a nice light alternative to potatoes or rice.
I had the (medium rare) Dry Aged burger (five hour Vidalia onion, Cooper’s sharp cheddar and truffle aioli.) Done perfectly and so very tasty with the ‘5 hour onions’… SOO good!
We also tried the crispy kale, which was a little disappointing since it wasn’t that crispy, but not enough to keep us from visiting Lea again.
It is a BYO, so come prepared!

The Saint Clair is a beautiful restaurant and had an incredible menu to match. We started with the skillet cornbread — hot out of the oven with the most delicious butter melting on top, a must try. My steak was cooked perfectly, highly recommend. We also ordered the salmon, chicken, and burger, all were delicious. The service was excellent, everyone was friendly and attentive. BYOB and reasonably priced. Definitely worth a try!
