My mother, sister and I came here on a Tuesday night. They had trivia going on and only 1-2 servers. There is no place to check in, we didn’t know where to go. Found someone to seat us. My mom had to go to the bar to get the waters we ordered. Our drinks when we got them tasted watered down. My sister spilled her drink and nobody came to help clean it up. The food was the only good part. It tasted good and the presentation was good too. Will not come here again.

This was one of our stops on our Lions Club poker run on Saturday in the quaint town of Merton. This bar had great historical ambiance with wonderful service from our two lovely lady bartenders and ice cold beers. We also took a walk a couple blocks away from this bar to the Bark River where there is a lovely park and fishing available as well with great scenery. We will be back!

Worst service ever! Was at our table 2 full hours, ordered but never got a bite of food, not a lie! Other table nearby sat after us, got drinks, got apps, got fish frys. All we got was our own drinks at the bar brought back to our table. Finally got up and left, received some unwanted lip from server at that time. At least one other table hacked off as well. Never again! Clearly more interested in carry-outs.

Bar or BarN? Went a few weeks ago for the fish fry. Fish was great but bartender was constantly gone and drinks sat empty more than once. Someone brought a dog in the bar. Bartender runs to pet it but then Never washed her hands after! Gross! Tried again last night and same girl there with skin tight leopard pants. Again drinks sat empty because she was to busy eating off someones plate to notice. Food was cold and well below average.

The waitress was VERY accommodating to our group of 10: patiently checking in on us while we took our time ordering, keeping pitchers of water going for us, and bringing our food out. The back room was great for us to watch the Bucks with our excellent pizza, burgers, & sandwiches. She easily was able to keep our checks separate, & all of this service while she was three only waitress & also the bartender! Love this place.

The food was really good but even though the restaurant has a Children’s Menu they did not have milk(listed on the Children’s Menu) or kid’s cups with lids (which they had before). The tables are small, not kid friendly at all and it took a little long for food considering we were the first table seated in the Dining Room.The food saved this review from a lower rating. Burgers are great, Fish Fry also very good .

First time here and not sure we’d go back. We asked about the fish fry and the boy serving us said he was new and would let us know but never came back. I had to ask another server for this information. She was very nice and apologetic and assured me he would be back in a moment to take our order. He never did and we had to ask the girl again. She got our food out to us fast and checked up on us several times. She was wonderful. The fish was great. The only other time we saw the young man was for our bill. He sure was quick on that but then didn’t give us a receipt. Again we had to ask the girl and she immediately took care of it. She had salvaged our experience untl on our way out we noticed the bartender eating off someone’s plate and heard her say, you know I help myself. We are happy to support local but that was to small town friendly for us.

Great small restaurant! The pizza, wings, and burgers were all fantastic! The waitress (who’s name I can’t remember) was basically running everything except the kitchen, and doing a great job! Only one mistake was made on our order, and they fixed it quickly and kindly! Humdinger’s is an amazing place to watch the game with friends and family.

Super excited to have Humdingers in our hood. We have ordered their pizza for take out almost weekly. It’s very good. We especially like the GF options they offer. Last night we decided to try eating there. The service was slow, but the waitress explained, prior to ordering, that they were short in the kitchen and had a party of 12. We decided to stick it out and we were glad we did. My husband’s Fish Fry was very good and my Cobb Salad was really, really good. We were happy with the price too – $25. I do agree with the other reviews that getting a table can be confusing….no sign, no hostess, bartenders and waitstaff busy so management should address this. You should definitely give this place a try. On a side note this place is wheelchair friendly. The entrance is barrier-free although street parking could be an issue. The dinning room is wide and easy to navigate. We didn”t visit the restrooms so you’re on your own there.
