Great experience at Fortune Cookie! The food was warm, fresh, and delicious — you can really taste the quality of the meat and vegetables. Everything came out fast, and the service was excellent. Easily the best Chinese food in clifton park. Don’t even try going to that other place near route 9. Their food isn’t only not good, it seems dangerous. Fortune cookie has been serving me for the better part of 10 years and I’ve basically never had an issue.

Ordered take out for pickup, they were very friendly from the start ensuring I knew how to find their location. Food was ready when I arrived about 15 mins later. Everything was hot and fresh, the chicken was nice and crispy. The pork friend rice was slightly bland in my opinion but nothing that some soy sauce can’t fix. Good value for the portions. I’d recommend the General Tsaos Chicken, Kung Pao chicken, steamed dumplings, and wonton soup.

I made an impromptu stop yesterday when in the area. It was a bright and clean restaurant and I was greeted very pleasantly upon my arrival. I had expectations of a good take out meal. I asked for S4 (S for shrimp) and mango chicken ( listed as: ‘when in season’) and was told that they didn’t even make mango chicken. Okay…I probably should have begun worrying about my meal after hearing the woman using the microwave (which isn’t even hidden in the kitchen) but…
I’m not sure after getting home and opening my meal if they make SHRIMP either because I don’t know what this is. Also, there’s nothing crispy about it. The sauce is congealed, and sweet like sesame chicken sauce, and there was no crispy rice as in the description. What it did have was soggy broccoli mixed in and a container of white rice.
I’m very disappointed with this meal. Not only is it not what I ordered, but I don’t want to eat it because I can’t even identify what it is. Is it: Beef? Pork? Dark Meat Chicken?
I just know that it’s NOT shrimp and that’s what I wanted.
I won’t be back. Normally I would give it a second chance but it’s not close enough to home to warrant a second trip.
