We placed an online order at 11:51 a.m. and were given an estimated pickup time of 15 minutes. We arrived at the store at 12:08 p.m. and were told our order was being worked on. Between 12:08 and 12:17, we were told three separate times that our sandwiches were in progress.
At 12:23, my wife was finally called to the counter and asked, “Did you get your sandwiches?” At that point, it became clear that our online order had not been started at all. During this entire time, only in-store orders were being prepared. While I understand prioritizing the in-store line, there were four employees making sandwiches, only two customers in line, and no one assigned to the online order.
The issue was not the wait itself — delays happen. The issue was being repeatedly told our order was in progress when it clearly was not. That lack of honesty and communication made this a frustrating and disappointing customer experience.
Today and me and my girlfriend got slightly greeted and looked like 3 teenagers just bullshitting not making it feel welcome at all. There was one guy blondish brown hair that was working hard cutting food and prepping stuff. He asked a girl working dark hair to make the sandwich. She had to of been training cause she didn’t say one word to us and when we told her what we wanted on it she looked at other two guys and they just stared at her like no one knew what they were doing. We asked for lettuce, tomato, pickles, mayo. Salt pepper and “some oil and vinegar”
She put a ton of lettuce on it which wasn’t really complaining just surprised. She started touching and playing with her hair with the gloves that she’s grabbing our food with. When she got to the oil and vinegar she flipped the bottle upside down just went to town!!!! Splashed it with both, about 6-8 times puddling it around our sandwich. I stopped her and asked politely if we could have it remade with a lot less oil and vinager. Then one of the guys that were there looked at her then looked at us and said. “Well we’re supposed to do that much it’s only 2 oz” I said that was about 8 oz of both and the sandwich is soaked and soggy so all they did was not remake the sandwich. Took lettuce and tomato off and put new lettuce and tomato back on. Refused to make a new sandwich. We payed for it. Opened it and took one bite and bread was just moosh. So we had to toss it. It was both of ours most uncomfortable and rude experience at any service place!
I walked in expecting the usual: cold bread with a shrug. But nope—they offered to toast it without me even asking. I nearly cried. The sandwich came out warm, crisp on the edges, and everything melted together like it was made with love (and a functioning toaster).
And the service? Way above par. The team was friendly, fast, and actually seemed like they enjoyed being there—which, honestly, made me enjoy being there too.
If you’re tired of sad subs and robotic service, this location is a refreshing reminder that the sandwich gods are still watching. I left full, happy, and mildly emotional.
Five stars. Extra points for the toasted bread.
The service was fantastic right off the bat, super friendly, very helpful navigating menu. Wait time was around 10 minutes as I ordered a cheesesteak. I had a big kahuna, it’s well built and a nice even ratio and they made it to perfection.
Would recommend to anybody passing through.
